Love Our Dog Visitors
I was raised with multiple dogs and have had the honor of owning my own pups for over 3 decades. We currently have 2 GREAT dogs who love having visitors. We have a very large fenced back yard and one of us is home 90% of the day. If we are not home, it is for limited times. We also are approved Foster Care providers for several Rescue Services in the DMV and have fostered puppies and adult dogs.

We were referred to Ann and Rick by a friend - and we know why she sang their praises! We had a friendly, welcoming meet-n-greet, during which time our dog was happy to romp with their dogs and explore their yard. This was so helpful and reassuring to us as first time boarders. We knew our pup would be in great hands while we were away, and we were right. He came home played-out and happy, and we know we will be reaching out again in the future. Thanks so much!
Ann and Richard are dog lovers, they took our two dogs into their family and loved on them as we would. As first time users of Rover, and the first time for our 2 dogs to be boarded away from home, we were apprehensive about their stay. Ann and Rich could not have been more understanding, and did everything to make us feel better about leaving our babies in their care. We had pictures every day, and our dogs had an absolutely wonderful time at their home. Outstanding experience in every aspect. Will be reserving again for our future travels.
First time using Rover. Anne and Richard were awesome. We talked about the whole process, and expectations. Marci was very well taken care of. Came back happy. Will definitely use them again.
As always, my Winnie had a great time with "her pack" at Ann and Richard's house. I never worry when she is with them.

Planning
My husband works from home and I am the director of a non-profit. Much of my work is also done from home. Having two dogs (a very kind Border Collie, age 9 and a very fun Cattle dog, age 1; we are used to having lots of outdoor activities during the day. We do ask that all dogs staying the night be dropped off by 5:30 so we have time to settle them down before bedtime. We take dogs as early as 7:30am.

We have a fenced yard. In the home, we have a main level and a screened porch and the pups have room to roam. If we leave the home for any reason, the pups are crated on the main level. At night, all dogs are welcome in our room.

We have many toys and regularly play with the dogs in the back yard. We also have an obstacle course that we set up for agility.
