Being outdoors is one of my favorite ways to spend the day and made even better with a 4 legged friend. Growing up, I had an elderly kitty for a bit and TONS of exposure to dogs through my best friends home and neighbor friends. Later I had 2 cats (brothers) for 13 lovely years full of purrs and cuddles. I currently have 2 adorable and active dogs. I have many years experience of caring for dogs and cats, barn sitting (horses), feeding, and grooming. A majority of the dogs I watched stayed at my house while their owners were out of town. For the past 13 years I have worked in healthcare (for hoomans) so caring for your pet will feel like a vacation for me.

Safety is very important to me along with your dog feeling comfortable around me. Let me know about any routines your pup is use to. If there are safety issues such as a back gate that might be unlocked or your dog knows how to unlock things tell me so I can be more aware. While on walks, my rule is to not introduce them to other dogs or people. Since they are not my dogs and I may be just getting used to their personality, I would not want something negative to happen on my watch.

Christina did a wonderful job taking care of my pets and home. So nice to have peace of mind while out of town. She always responded in a timely manner when checking in. I highly recommend her and will definitely ask her to watch my pets again.

Christina took great care of our doggies! She provided frequent and informative updates and kept an open line of communication! Our doggies definitely enjoyed their time spent with her and I would 100% look to book her again in the future!
Communication was detailed at first, and I appreciated that the sitter cleaned the cats’ litter box and food (even though I didn’t request or want to be charged for it — my parents were available and could have handled the cats). However, Freya is a normal 4-month-old teething puppy (very mouthy/playful), has never been aggressive in the past. I shared clear instructions plus a previous sitter’s glowing review using the “enough” cue + crate naps, and the sitter sent me a video of the biting but never once used the cue or tried the fixes I suggested. Instead she kept complaining nonstop and called my puppy “dangerous,” which really upset me. This was completely new behavior with this sitter — I’ve never had issues like this before and other sitters (including the one right before her) described Freya as a sweet, fast-learning, wonderful puppy. I ended the sit early for everyone’s comfort. Freya is still very much a puppy who is not fully trained yet, but she is sweet, responsive, and makes quick progress with consistency. I would only recommend this sitter for calm adult dogs or someone with more experience handling teething puppies. Next time I’ll be extra clear in my notes about needing puppy-experienced caregivers who communicate solutions instead of complaints
Christina was such a great find! She agreed to house sit for us at late notices and was incredible! Highly recommend! We've already booked her for another weekend!
Christina is the absolute best! My doggie got along with her little ones and they were able to play together without me worrying about my dog while I was on a trip. Will definitely be booking again with her😊
