“My kitty loves seeing Leigh. She is always on time and I love getting the pictures she sends everyday. Have used her services many times before and will continue to use. Thank you.”

“Stephanie was great. It was the first time we had a drop in visit for our cat. She was very responsive with pictures and sending an update about any questions we had while we were away from our cat. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

“Sarahí took care so well of our little Ramon! She was very attentive in her drop-in visits always keeping us posted of our puppies progress as he is very young. Ramon got used to her very quickly and my husband feel extremely comfortable and happy with her disposition! Thank you for your outstanding care Sarahi ?”

“Mariah watched my 16 year old cat while I was away and I will never ask for another sitter again. She took care of her with respect and patience and made sure the lady was satisfied. She also let us know when she got mad and pooped on the dog areas so she could clean them but I opted to just have them washed when I got back. Mariah is super responsible and dependable and I felt very comfortable leaving my pet and house in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Argelia went over and above for my babies. The AC on my apartment went out while I was on vacation and she took great care of them. She even offered to board them if need be. She also came an extra visit extra one afternoon just to make sure they were OK, my kitten really really likes her. My older cat is more shy and I think lived under the bed for the entire week, but I know they were both well taken care of. I will continue to use her in the future and recommend her to all of my friends and family .”

“Caroline took amazing care of my girl, Stella. She was attentive to Stella’s needs and gave her the cuddles she requested each drop in visit. We will definitely have her back!”

“Samantha did a great job. She was on time, played with the girls and ensured they were happy while we were gone. We got good photos and she kept us up to date on them. We really appreciate what she did and her willingness to come to the house and let the girls out for us. Great job Samantha!”

“Dee and David were wonderful taking care of our little Ms Fiona. They gave her the extra little care she needed as she was mourning the very recent loss of her buddy Siri. Dee and David are very professional and so pleasant so work with! Will continue to keep them at the top of my list!! Thank you both!! You are the best!!”

“I’m always grateful for Dina. She’s quick with her replies, always on time, and my 4 month old puppy Figgy loves her. She also takes the best pictures when she hangs with my girly.”

About: I grew up in a pet loving home, where at any given time we had at least two cats and one dog living under our roof. As young as 12 years old, I was entrusted by neighbors to pet sit, and I took part in caring for and training my own family pets. I now have 4 cats and a dog of my own, and I promise to love and care for your fur babies as I would for my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog groomer, however my schedule is very unstructured, so it changes from week to week. Usually however, I’m only working 2-3 days a week, which leaves my schedule wide open to spend my days with your fur babies! I am unable to care for any additional animals in my own home, however I would be more than happy to watch your babies in your home! I would ensure your home was treated with respect and would do my part in keeping it clean. I’d be able to crate your pups if desired, as well as clean litter boxes, as well as any other care-taking tasks required.

About: PLEASE NOTE* will be unavailable starting August 14th! My family is full of huuuuge animal lovers! Because of this, I’ve unofficially had years of experience with dogs, and more recently cats too! My three older siblings have two dogs each so I’ve had experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Of course I have experience with my own husky Luna who can be the toughest of em all lol I’m home for the summer from college until August so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m willing to house sit or pay your pup a visit any day of the week, I will treat your home with the utmost respect and care for your pet like my own. I know, as a pet parent myself, that I’d like detailed updates on my dog as well as many pictures so I’ll do the same for you! I'Il treat them like my very best friend, I'll play with them, take them for walks around the neighborhood for some fresh air, and of course provide cuddles.
About: I have grown up around dogs of all sizes, and I know how to read what dogs are feeling or needing. I know pet CPR and first aid. I have a flexible schedule, so I am able to come walk your dog(s) or drop in to your animals during different times of the day. I will walk your dog(s) and make sure they get their playtime and have company. I will also make sure your animals have water before I leave so they are able to stay hydrated while you’re away! I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I do have a daughter who may sometimes need to tag along, so your pet(s) must be baby friendly! She loves hand kisses from dogs and is great with gentle petting! I will fit your pet in any time between 9-5, earlier or later upon request! I will make sure to fit your scheduling needs as best I can. I care for each animal as if they are my own. I make sure to pay attention to their behavior as well as their environment to make sure all their needs are met.

Melissa was wonderful with our cat! So happy that she was available to take care of him for the week. The pictures were adorable and it’s clear that he enjoyed her company and the attention she gave him. Our house was in good order when we arrived home as well. Highly recommend Melissa!

Argie always takes such great care with my kitty, who can be a bit impatient and moody at times, but Argie knows how to deal with my kitty's moods. She obviously loves animals and treats them like her own. I know that Argie misses my kitty during times when we are not away, so perhaps I need to schedule some 'play time' when we are home! Argie, thanks again for everything!

We used Kristen for last minute care of our kitties, and she was great. Not only is she reliable, attentive, and good with animals - she also puts a smile your face with the photos and care notes that she sends. She is very much appreciated. Don’t think twice about hiring her!

Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.

Short notice for a 10-day stretch of twice-a-day drop-ins for my kitty over the holiday. Picture through the app at every visit. Came home to a non-stressed kitty who was still happy to see me, but not irritated that his schedule was off -- I now have a lot to live up to!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ashton Glen. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
