Hi there! I’ve been around pets my whole life and truly enjoy spending time with them. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I used to have a sweet little Yorkie who passed in 2020 and I miss her every day. As well as a beautiful Calico cat. Since then, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends whenever they travel, and it’s something I genuinely love doing. Whether it’s for cuddles, playtime, or just keeping your fur baby company while you’re away, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. I’m reliable, loving, and happy to help give you peace of mind while you're away from your furry friend!

I do not offer the in home care for pets. I currently can’t allow pets inside my apartment due to apartment complex rules and my fiance is also allergic.

Leaving my dogs behind while out of town for six days was a first for me, so I was naturally pretty nervous going into the process. I interviewed several people before meeting Velkin in person. My girlfriend and I hosted her for a meet and greet, and her genuine, welcoming presence stood out immediately. There was nothing fake or performative about her. She has the kind of ground-level authenticity that puts you at ease right away. My Chihuahuas took to her immediately as well, which said everything. If you know anything about Chihuahuas, they do not warm up to strangers quickly, if at all. Hiring her was an easy decision, and she did not disappoint. She came by twice a day to handle feeding, water, outdoor time, and spending quality time with them. Beyond basic care, she treated my dogs like her own. I received regular photos and detailed updates after her visits, giving me complete peace of mind. I also felt totally comfortable giving her unfettered access to my home while I was away. On top of everything, she was remarkably flexible. When I came home a day early, she was gracious enough to modify the booking and remove that final day. Since she had reserved that slot for me, it would have been completely fair for her to charge for the full six days, so that gesture was unexpected and extremely kind. Velkin did a phenomenal job, and I have zero regrets about hiring her. She provides world class service, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. We love Velkin! She takes very good care of our puppy, Lilly, and cat, Scratch. She is very easy to communicate with and always kept us updated. We highly, highly recommend!
Velkin did a fantastic job and my cats loved her! Booking with her was straightforward and easy, and got plenty of photos of them playing and hanging in each visit plus taking care of food and litter!
Velkin was extremely dependable, responsive, provided detailed updates while I was away and followed the specific instructions I left for my two cats. Definitely recommend!
Velkin was very helpful for our last minute ask for a drop in. Bruno seemed to have enjoyed her quick visit. Good communication and lots of picture updates. Would recommend.
Velkin took amazing care of my sweet kitty when I was out of town for several days. She made sure to engage her in lots of playtime and sent a bunch of photos. Will definitely book her again in the future! ☺️

Schedule
Currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule Monday through Friday. Also available on weekends with advanced notice. I simply request a 2-3 day notice.

- I’d need to know if the dog requires any certain type of care and if I’m comfortable I’d absolutely help with whatever they need during my visit.
