About: I’ve care for family dogs my entire life, giving me experience with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and routines. I myself had a pitbull mastiff and am comfortable caring for all dogs of all sizes. I’m comfortable providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and plenty of affection while following each owner’s instructions carefully. My experience caring for senior cats with changing health needs has also made me patient, observant, and attentive to subtle changes in an animal’s behavior or comfort. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a slower, calmer routine, I’ll provide dependable care and treat them like family. I’m currently in between jobs so I’m available to take care of your pets within a day’s notice. If you need to cancel, please provide notice 3 days prior. I do not offer services regarding keeping animals at my home, as we have too many that aren’t socialized. I have no problem with crate trained animals and will follow whatever specific instructions you leave regarding your animals’ care and needs.

“Let me tell you about Cleo’s best friend Monique!!!! I went on a last minute trip and had to leave Cleo behind for the first time. I was SO anxious and felt super guilty about leaving her alone. Monique was very diligent about showing up, sending reports, and following my tedious instructions about leaving the TV on/moving our coffee table for our roomba lol. I felt like she actually wanted to be there and love on Cleo. Cleo loves tug of war and Monique would play with her literally every time she visited and made sure she got her treat’o’s. I have a very active dog, Rio - he’s a sweetheart & loves making new friends. I can assure you that during your pets stay, they will be cared for as my own. They are able to free roam in the house, have access to a full backyard, taken on walks, rides to the park, and all the cuddles. Hope you like updates, because I send a ton of pictures. Steve is the best. Our slightly special needs rescue needs a gentle but confident hand, and Steve is great with him. He makes sure our old boy gets his medication and food (which he can be quite uncooperative about) and he always takes him on the best walks. We’ve used Steve for boarding and drop-in visits/walks in our home. We know we can trust that he’ll take care of Riley just like we would (or maybe even better!) He’s reliable, communicative, and always sends great pictures, so you’ll always know how well things are going with your furbaby while you’re away!
I almost don’t want to leave a review because I want Tara all to ourselves! It’s very difficult to find a quality/trust worthy dog walker these days, but Tara is surely both! She is extremely detail oriented and follows instructions to a T. She sends TONS of pics and videos with a detailed report card about the visit. It’s clear my pups adore her. They usually take a little while to warm up to strangers but it was love at first site with Tara! She also left the most thoughtful card and puppy cookies. Excited to use her for more walks/visits in the future!
