I have now been a rather busy dog sitter and walker for many years here in the DC metro area. I have cared for young dogs and old, from tiny to huge. I listen to the pet owners and care for their pets as they wish.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog This will depend on what your pet is accustomed to. I think it is better to follow a pet's schedule as closely as possible. My base rate allows for two to three visits at about thirty minutes per visit which is more than enough time for a short walk or play time in the back yard, food and water, and medicine or vitamins. If you feel more or less time or more visits are needed, please ask and we can come to an agreement. It is not convenient for me to stay overnight at your house. Extra house-sitting services I am willing to do other necessary tasks to keep your house in order, like bringing in packages or mail.

Please ask. Thanks!!! *******For new clients**** I do offer shorter visits or walks at a discount. Please ask and we can talk it out. Thanks! I am available for pet sitting visits (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.) and also for dog walks either on a scheduled basis or as needed. I have been with Rover a long time, before a lot of changes were made. While the rates posted are for a half hour walk, I do offer shorter walks at a discount. While my schedule is very busy with my kids I have free time throughout the day to care for your animals. I can accommodate your pet's schedule and I am willing to walk your dog in any weather when it is safe to do so. In your pet's eyes I can be no substitute for your presence but I can make the wait enjoyable until you return. I have experience with dogs and cats for many years as my own pets and I have taken care of friend's pets while they were away. Some of these pets had medical conditions. You can be assured that I will care for your pet as well as I care for mine. Thank you for considering me for this very important task. Why I love dog sitting I have owned a dog since I was a child. We have a dog and a cat at this time. My experience administering medication Yes, I have sitted for animals with medical conditions. I have administered pills and insulin injections.
