I have lived with a big dog my whole life and have been dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was 15. I have experience watching all kinds of dog breeds, cats, rabbits, chickens, and more. I don't just drop in to take your pet on a walk or give them food and water, I treat each pet like a member of the family and give them the attention they need, recognizing it's not fun to be alone often!

I typically spend the first part of my visits giving your pet all the love they deserve! I’ll sit with them and give them constant pets if they want before going and checking the food, litter box, water, etc. I will happily stay with your pet to ensure they are comfortable and get the attention they need. If your pet seems anxious and doesn't eat much while their owner is away, I will sit with the pet and hand-feed until they get enough food in their body that I can be comfortable leaving them (I have watched many anxious animals and this always seems to help!). I also usually play a podcast or audiobook out loud when I’m with your furry friend so they can break out of the silence for a little while!

Erica was wonderful to work with! Our 15 year old Himalayan cat was in great hands while we visited family over July 4th weekend. She came over to meet Daphne before we left and our (sometimes shy) kitty loved her immediately! She asked great questions, took notes and was excellent at communicating! We got photos of Daphne every day! We will definitely call her again when we need any Petsitting!

I was very pleased with Erica as a pet sitter for my cat. She was very reliable and I liked the way she took notes during the intro visit. It was the first time I had used her as my pet sitter and the first time using Rover in many years. Erica sent pictures and gave me updates daily as to how things were going with my elderly cat and she was very good at communicating with me regularly. She handled bringing in the mail and also another small house chore. I appreciated her flexibility. Most importantly, she seemed sincere in wanting to help my cat be as secure and comfortable as possible when I was away.
Thanks, Erica, for taking care of our senior kitty for the weekend. We appreciated the photos and updates. Erica was on time and communicative throughout our booking, and we would book with her again.

Schedule
I currently work from home and can be flexible when getting out during the day to go see a pet. I don‘t currently have any pets of my own, so a break in my day to go see a dog, cat, bunny, bird, etc. is always welcome!

- I will always come to a meet and greet ready to take all the notes! Besides the necessary care instructions, I would love to know if there are any quirks your pet has. For example, will your dog start to bark the second they see another dog? Does your cat have one special place they love to hide during the day? Does your dog wait by the door as a way to tell you they have to go out? Do they expect a treat every time they come inside?
