I've owned my own personal pets for the past 8 years, including a snake, dog, and cat. I've also worked with a variety of species in my educational, personal, and professional life. I work summers in a high-stress environment (clinic/boarding facility) where I am responsible for the day-to-day needs, grooming, and occasional medicating of animals.

I will not provide services from my home (due to owning my own animals, family at home, etc.). However, any rules set by the owners would be followed to the letter, and I am also extremely capable of making choices in the best interest of both animals and people involved in situations, due to my history of involvement with animals!

Alyssa is top tier when it comes to taking care of your pets. She goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are loved when you’re not around. She does walking while you’re working or just potty breaks. She provides excellent care while you’re traveling and your pets can’t go with you. I would use her over again in a heart beat.
Takes wonderful care of every animal they come across, and makes sure they KNOW they’re loved! Very punctual and orderly, if there’s a schedule or special instructions, they will follow it to a T. Being pre-vet, they really know their stuff and what is and isn’t good for your pet’s health, and additionally they’re excellent at reading animal body language. If you want to know you’ll come home to a happy and healthy pup, Alyssa’s the person for you!
Alyssa is extremely professional and well versed in all things pet! Our animals are extremely comfortable with her and she takes amazing care of them. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I own my own animals, so get hands-on-experience with animals everyday! Additionally, as a pre-veterinary major at UMD, College Park, I learn not only the practical ways to work with them, but the scientific reasoning behind why animals do what they do. I also work with them professionally during the summer, when I am not at school.

- I don't really have preferences for breeds!!! I really like sighthounds and german shepherds, though, so if you have one just know I WILL love that dog to death. Behavioral, medical, or other issues should be noted to me ahead of time so I can become familiar with them, if I'm not already!
