About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have over 10 years of personal experience caring for dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, with my third dog passing a little over a year ago, so I am very comfortable caring for multiple pets withe different needs and personalities. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. One of my dogs was diagnosed with diabetes, so I have over 3 years of experience administering medications and insulin injections. With multiple dogs in the house, I’ve had plenty of experience keep track of different diets, medications, and routines at the same time. I also have experience with anxious and reactive pets, and I understand the importance of being patient, attentive to their body language, and know how to learn the different personality of your pet. I know that every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow any instructions to help your pet feel most comfortable. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and will treat your pets with the same care and attention that I give my own. Whether they need a long walk, playtime, medication, or just some love and attention, I want you to feel confident that they’re being well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently a college senior, which gives me a flexible schedule with plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for boarding on weekends as well as extended stays throughout the week. I do have classes Monday-Thursday, but I have long breaks throughout the day that will allow me to return for check-ins, walks, and spending time with your pet. Outside of class, I’m home frequently and have plenty of time to make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I understand that I am entering both their space and their pet’s territory. I always approach pets patiently and allow them to become comfortable with me at their own pace. I will closely follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and household rules so that your pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. I will treat your home with respect and make sure your pet receives the same care and attention that I would give my own.

About: Hi, I’m Dilen! I am a huge animal lover (especially dogs!). There has never been a time when I haven’t had a dog. I’ve had experience with many different breeds, and I currently have a Black Lab (Magic) and a Pitbull Mix (Gwen). I started walking dogs for people in my neighborhood when I was in elementary school and have loved it ever since! I also have extensive experience raising and training dogs through Terps Raising Pups at UMD. I raised and trained a yellow Lab named Whitney, who has since graduated from the program and is now working as a seeing eye dog. I am currently a Group Leader with Terps Raising Pups, where I help support other student raisers as they train and care for future service dogs. I also often puppysit my fellow raisers’ dogs! Every kind of dog has a special place in my heart, and I look forward to meeting and walking your pups! I’m currently a student at UMD with a flexible class schedule, so I’m available to walk and care for dogs throughout the week whenever I’m not in class. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and spending quality time with your pup! Having raised and trained puppies, I’m very mindful of keeping a dog’s environment safe and puppy-proofed. I make sure anything potentially unsafe is out of reach, doors and gates are secure, and dogs are closely supervised. I also follow each owner’s routines and instructions so their dog feels safe and comfortable in their own environment.

“I needed a dog walker somewhat last minute (with 2 days’ notice), and Andrea answered my request super promptly! She even came out for a meet and greet the same day, which made me feel more comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Andrea sent lots of adorable photos of my pup Levi on his walk. She also kept an eye on him so he wouldn’t itch his incision site, since he’d been neutered about 2 weeks prior. Andrea did a superb job watching my high energy dog. I appreciated her love of herders, and would 100% book her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs since I’ve been 12 years old. I also had my own dog for a couple years as well and I took her on walks, fed her, played with her, etc I am going to see how it fits into my work week schedule and see what would best work for both mine and the owners. I have a big park next to my house as well as trails I can walk on nearby. I also have space for the dog to run around and play outside.

About: I have experience taking care of my pomeranian and two cats for 5 years. Each them have own quirks and special needs. I have experience looking after family pets but I'm open to taking care of any animals special wants or necessities. Currently, I work part-time in catering but my schedule is pretty flexible since most of my shifts are on call. Monday through Saturday are the better days for me. Currently, I don't live with any animals but I do experience with caring for my dog and cat for over 5 years. I also have some experience petting sitting for a couple of relatives

I’m available for multiple walks per day and drop-in’s. I take public transportation so your place should be nearby a bus stop. House sitting: I ask pet owners to give me a tour of the areas of the house that the dog has access to. I look for hazards: unattended trash cans; poisonous food on floors and counters; mouse traps and bug sticky tape; cords and wires that can be chewed; miscellaneous objects like small kid’s toys; hard floors that won’t protect from jumping or falling. I ask for a list of activities that your dog enjoys. Walking: I need a list of your dog’s behaviors: 1. triggers ie., large dogs, loud noises, bikes and scooters 2. fun tendencies i.e., likes to smell flowers, chases birds, says hi to neighbors 3. challenges i.e, pulls the leash, attacks large dogs or specific breeds, eats random objects on the ground.

About: I’m a clean freak and pay very close attention to detail, so more needy dogs are up my ally! I have a high-need and reactive dog myself, so I have experience with a variety of pet care scenarios. If your dog just needs some extra attention, that’s great too! I work remotely from home, so I can pop in and out when needed. I’m more flexible in the morning to early afternoons since I make my own schedule. I’m working part-time pet care, but am adaptable to your needs. I highly value instruction and communication, as I understand our pups are our babies. I will show your home and your pup all the love they deserve. I’m careful and cautious, so I will always make sure your home and your pup are safe.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was child, my mother worked as a maid and would take me along. Some of her clients would have dogs and I would play with their dogs and walk them along side their owners when it’s time to go out. Now three years ago I have my own fur-baby as my ESA, which inspired me to continue working with dogs and I’ve been working with them for more than 6 months now at a doggy daycare in the silver spring MD area! Hi! Yes! I really enjoy having pet care as part of my routine. Every day, I make time for feeding, walks or playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention. Throughout the week, I also handle grooming, cleaning, and making sure they’re happy and healthy. Please feel free to reach out with any questions for your fur-babies! If any of your pets need medication, timers and alarms will be set to be given at accurate times. Daily/frequent pictures and video calls will be sent to you of your fur-babies when requested.

“Mary went above and beyond for caring for my three cats. I had booked four visits for my cats. Unfortunately, there was a serious issue in my apartment building during that time. Residents and their pets needed to be evacuated. Mary ended up having to bring my cats to a boarding facility. She put them all in their crates, walked up and down eight flights of stairs in my building, put them in her car, drove them, and then admitted them to the chosen boarding facility. Through it all, Mary maintained constant communication and care regarding the well being of my cats. I would highly recommend Mary as a petsitter for your pets!! Because I am sitting working everyday on weekdays so I need to have some walking to exercise. So walking dog is perfect for me. Taking care the cats also makes my weekend nicer. About: Individual with a BS degree in animal science currently pursuing her veterinary technician license who loves animals of all kinds and would love to keep your furry family members as happy, active, and healthy as possible while you are away! I have vast experience working with animals in all aspects from basic husbandry and pet sitting to veterinary clinical care! Due to my busy schedule working a full time job at a veterinary clinic, my services are best suited to individual walks or drop in visits on my days off (usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays), or sitting for pets that are able to be left alone for 9+ hours at a time. I do not have any pets of my own and am child free, so I can easily provide overnight pet sitting for clients if they would prefer rather than just being present during the day.

About: Hi! I love all animals and pets! I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, birds, hamsters, hermit crabs, and horses as those are the pets I have owned growing up and through adulthood. Most of my care experience has been either for my own pets or for family and friends—all with glowing recommendations! I know basic AFA (Animal First Aid), however, I am not yet certified. I am confident caring for animals of all ages, young through senior. I can provide care for animals that need medications and those with asthma. I would love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work as a nanny to this sweet girl. She’s school aged so I mostly just handle afterschool pickup and care. My schedule may change once school ends late June, however, this can be discussed. It will most likely stay within the hours of the afternoon. My hours currently are 2pm-6pm every weekday. I do not work on the weekends and with afternoon pickup I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your fur babies! I am confident caring for all animals in any space. I am great at following directions, anything you leave will be followed to ensure your fur baby is well taken care of. I always make sure they are well fed, well maintained, and loved while their human is away. Each animal is different and the type of care given depends on the individual pet. All pets will be loved and looked after as if they were my own.
