“Maria was so wonderful with our cat Lucy. Lucy is a bit shy but I could tell from the pictures and videos Maria sent me daily that Lucy was comfortable and having a a great time with Maria’s company. Maria was very reliable and even showed up for us on Thanksgiving Day. She sent me a report every day to let me know how the visit went and how Lucy was doing. We hate leaving our Lucy alone for a few days but it was a great comfort to know she was taken such great care of by Maria while my daughter had to go out of town. I will definitely use Maria again if we need a pet sitter in the future and I’m so grateful for her wonderful care of our sweet Lucy.”

“We really appreciate Zach being available and taking such good care of our three cats and our one foster cat! He navigated our house well and treated all the cats with tenderness. Thank you!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets for about three years, and I truly love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I have experience with both dogs and cats, including walking, feeding, administering medication, and providing comfort to anxious or senior pets. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and calm, caring approach, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable with schedules, great at following specific care instructions, and always keep pet parents updated with pictures and messages so they know their furry friend is doing well. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just some extra affection, I’ll treat them like my own. I’m a student at the University of Maryland with a busy weekday class schedule, but I’m free most evenings after 4 PM and weekends for pet care. Mondays and Thursdays are usually my most flexible days, and I’m happy to plan around your pet’s needs for walks, drop-ins, or extended visits. I care for pets in their own homes to help them feel safe and secure. I follow each pet’s routine carefully, keep their space clean, and make sure doors, leashes, and feeding schedules are always handled responsibly. I’ll also keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hi! I love all animals and pets! I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, birds, hamsters, hermit crabs, and horses as those are the pets I have owned growing up and through adulthood. Most of my care experience has been either for my own pets or for family and friends—all with glowing recommendations! I know basic AFA (Animal First Aid), however, I am not yet certified. I am confident caring for animals of all ages, young through senior. I can provide care for animals that need medications and those with asthma. I would love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work as a nanny to this sweet girl. She’s school aged so I mostly just handle afterschool pickup and care. My schedule may change once school ends late June, however, this can be discussed. It will most likely stay within the hours of the afternoon. My hours currently are 2pm-6pm every weekday. I do not work on the weekends and with afternoon pickup I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your fur babies! I am confident caring for all animals in any space. I am great at following directions, anything you leave will be followed to ensure your fur baby is well taken care of. I always make sure they are well fed, well maintained, and loved while their human is away. Each animal is different and the type of care given depends on the individual pet. All pets will be loved and looked after as if they were my own.
About: I’ve had a dog at home forever, and during covid I fostered all kinds of dogs: puppies, great danes, traumatized rescues, etc. I am not phased by slobber, poop, or throw up and I have never met a dog I didn’t love. I’m a full time student at University of Maryland, living in an off campus apartment with a car. I live with one roommate. My lifestyle is chill, and extra walks with your furry friend would fit right in. I will gladly take your pet on a short or long walk based on your (and the pet’s) preferences. I love to hang by the tv with my dog, or explore new outdoor areas. My apartment building allows dogs and has elevators and stairs. I live on the 3rd floor. I recently had my senior dog visit for the weekend, and we avoided the stairs completely.
“Lucy took wonderful care of Oakley over a long weekend while I was away. She was attentive, punctual, and very sweet to my boy. Stop the search and book her for anything you need.”

“Astrid is wonderful! She made us feel very comfortable to leave our cats with her. She would always go above and beyond and send us so many pictures. We will be booking with her again!”

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and have been around animals for most of my life. I grew up with a family dog and helped with feeding, walks, playtime, and daily care. I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I would give my own. 🐾💕 I work full-time Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, which allows me to provide care before and after work, as well as on weekends. I'm available for evening care and weekend bookings, and I'm committed to ensuring pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. “I can't recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire time. She also kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats, not just completing the job. When I came home, my cats were happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I truly appreciate all of her hard work and kindness. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!”

“Alexandra was great for our stop-in visits with the catboys while we were out of the country. She communicated well and took great care of them. Will reach out to her again in the future when we are out of town.”

So my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m excited to help out my fellow pet owners! I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible! Feeding them on time, making sure they have fresh water, and giving them plenty of attention and play. I keep their space clean, safe, and calm, and I always follow any special instructions you provide. I also send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Keaton is truly a great cat sitter that I cannot recommend enough to others! Whether it's communication, attention to detail, taking photos/videos, or their natural ability to work with kitties, Keaton excelled in every aspect.”

“Lilla has been amazing with our dog and communication with me. Lloyd was having severe anxiety and Lilla communicated with me every step of the way, on his behavior, shyness, and even when he got a bit aggressive towards her. She comforted him and gave him the space and attention he needed as we devised a plan. I appreciated her openness, understanding and thoughtful approach to our dogs needs!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
