“Izcali has been great with our two dogs! Both our dogs can be nervous around new people but they took to her very fast. She arrives on schedule each day and takes them out to stretch their legs and potty. She sends us adorable pictures and updates us on what they get up to. Thank you so much for looking after our babies!”

“Lilla has been amazing with our dog and communication with me. Lloyd was having severe anxiety and Lilla communicated with me every step of the way, on his behavior, shyness, and even when he got a bit aggressive towards her. She comforted him and gave him the space and attention he needed as we devised a plan. I appreciated her openness, understanding and thoughtful approach to our dogs needs!”

“I can't recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire time. She also kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats, not just completing the job. When I came home, my cats were happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I truly appreciate all of her hard work and kindness. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been involved with pet care my whole life! I’ve volunteered at PAW here in Maryland and worked as a Pet-care Specialist, Dog walker, and Pet sitter for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish, and other small pets. I am knowledgeable in administering medicine to pets, and understanding animal body language. I’m currently doing pet care full-time! When I’m not caring for my own pets, I’m always looking for ways to help people care for theirs! I currently only have weekday availability. I always approach pets with care and respect! I understand that it’s possible for pets to come from all types of backgrounds, and am committed to making your pets feel the most comfortable they can!
About: I am reliable, responsible, active and caring. I owned and trained a Chiweenie for 3 years and would love to pet sit, dog walk or board for you! I work remotely most days. I am free to dog walk/board on most weekends and the occasional weekday. I am also free early mornings and after 5pm. Due to primary work schedule, last minute requests are actually preferred! I am a House Director for UMD Student Housing and have a two bedroom apartment. There is plenty of space in the house for a large or small dog. Good for dogs that like people and belly rubs!
“Jane took great care of our elderly cat, including giving her multiple medications when the cat struggled with being alone. It was a great relief knowing how well Jane was taking care of our pet.”

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind. I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, whether they’re energetic puppies or gentle seniors. I have experience with basic training for young pets, helping reinforce good habits, and I’m patient and compassionate with older animals who may need extra support or mobility assistance. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while giving owners peace of mind. I can work part time and spend as much time as needed with each pet. I love taking care of animals. Throughout the week, I stay flexible to accommodate different needs. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment. I follow their pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walks and any specific instructions. I also keep the home tidy, provide updates (Pictures), and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment. At the end of the day I want each pet that I meet to have a loving care experience and feel relaxed and well cared for at all times.

“Ana was extremely flexible with assisting with my two dogs and showed great knowledge in training and handling both of them. They received nothing but love and care from her. I could not recommend her enough and I will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have had several pets of my own growing up, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve looked after dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I always treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to making sure your pet feels loved, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I recently graduated, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I’m happy to help. I know how important consistency is for pets, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, for both you and your pet. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walking routes. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can feel confident they’re happy and doing well. I also treat every home with the utmost respect and will care for your pet as if they were part of my own family.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and birds! As a bird owner myself, I love being around animals. I’ve helped my friends pet sit their animals, so I’m very used to it. I’m currently in college, but I have very free weekends and most of my classes are spaced apart! I have a lot of time on my hands to play and walk your pets! We have an apartment complex that is animal friendly and we also have a great dog park in the back of the apartment as well.
About: I helped raise 3 dogs from puppyhood and cared for one senior dog and cat. The senior dog had major health problems, so I'm more than comfortable caring for pets with specific needs and health difficulties. I'm currently involved in volunteer work, and my schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to be available for the summer. Scheduling will be tailored around you and your pet's unique needs. As a pre-law student, I highly value and respect trust, safety, and boundaries. I promise to respect you, your home, and of course, your pet.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and growing up, neighbors and friends would often reach out to me for pet care! I also volunteered at an animal shelter through middle and high school and, in addition to learning how to properly care for animals, I also learned a lot about reading dog and cat behavior and body language. I also have experience giving medication to cats and dogs (even the most stubborn and wriggly of them all), so if your pet requires medication, you can feel confident that they will get it! I mostly work from home and have a pretty flexible working schedule. The chance to get out of my house, go for a walk, or hang out with a cute cat or dog is always a bonus for me! I look forward to the days I get to take care of someone’s pet because it fits perfectly in my schedule, brings me so much joy, and gives me an opportunity to help others out. I can visit your home to give your pets potty breaks, feedings, walks, or quality time. I will make sure your pet gets plenty of play time and interaction over the course of a home visit!
About: I've owned my own personal pets for the past 8 years, including a snake, dog, and cat. I've also worked with a variety of species in my educational, personal, and professional life. I work summers in a high-stress environment (clinic/boarding facility) where I am responsible for the day-to-day needs, grooming, and occasional medicating of animals. I own my own animals, so get hands-on-experience with animals everyday! Additionally, as a pre-veterinary major at UMD, College Park, I learn not only the practical ways to work with them, but the scientific reasoning behind why animals do what they do. I also work with them professionally during the summer, when I am not at school. I will not provide services from my home (due to owning my own animals, family at home, etc.). However, any rules set by the owners would be followed to the letter, and I am also extremely capable of making choices in the best interest of both animals and people involved in situations, due to my history of involvement with animals!
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in College Park is $20

So many great things to say about Natalie!! She took my booking the same day even though she was not feeling well earlier in the morning she still showed up to care for my Mocha! I had some internet issues right before she was do to leave out and she helped out even more by trying to assist me in fixing the issues with my internet so the tvs would be left on for Mocha while Noone is there. She is truly very caring and communicates very well during her visits! I can't praise her enough! Thank you for everything Natalie!

Emma is amazing with Santino! She takes such great care of him whenever we’re away. She sends photos after every visit, which gives us so much peace of mind, and it’s clear that Santino absolutely loves her. She even opened his Chewy box with him, which was such a thoughtful touch. We always know he’s in great hands with Emma, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Highly recommend her services!! Thank you so much Lindsay!!

We felt very comfortable with how our dogs were cared for during our vacation. It helped us fully relax and enjoy our time away!

Alexis was absolutely amazing while we were out of town! She took such great care of Uno and gave me complete peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Uno was happy, well cared for, and in great hands the entire time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

Catherine did an amazing job watching my babies while I was out of town. I am so glad I found her on here! It can be difficult finding someone trusted that is also good with your pets. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
