I’ve volunteered at PAW here in Maryland and worked as a Pet-care Specialist, Dog walker, and Pet sitter for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish, and other small pets. I've been lucky enough to live with several wonderful pets, including special needs dogs, and currently share my home with two wonderful cats. About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, and dogs have always been part of my daily routine. I regularly walk, feed, and play with them and would consider myself a natural when it comes to canine companions. In fact, a dog is usually the first thing to greet me when I wake up in the morning! Because I have a dog of my own, and interact with other dogs frequently, I understand their body language and cues, and can thus anticipate their needs and behavior in any given situation. I am patient, kind, and loving in all my interactions with dogs, as they are truly a humans best friend. With 3 dogs and 5 cats, I am well versed in everything from dog park etiquette, to deep litter box cleaning. My daily routine always consists of animal care, from morning until night. About: I can do anything from walking to giving baths or from filling food and water to providing medicine 🐾 I’m okay with dogs of all ages and sizes from puppies to pitbulls and from the sick to the elderly 🙂 I can work remotely so it fits in quite easily. I live in Greenbelt, MD and my office is in DC (when I do decide to go into work), so really anywhere in the suburbs I’m willing to drive to! Any special instructions will be listened to and I will take great care of your pet(s). Hopefully things work out and you can be a regular-ish client! Please note: i board 3-4 dogs at a time. If you have a larger breed dog and I’m boarding multiple dogs, I might require them to where a bark collar that just buzzes if they get aggressive. Depending on their behavior. It helps with mitigation. I have never had any accidents happen under my watch and would like to keep it that way.

About: I have years of experience with animals. From turtles, to large cane corsos and Perro de Presa Canarios, to a small Yorkie - puppies to adults, to kittens and cats. I fostered a puppy into adulthood when care became overwhelming for the original owner. She is energetic and would run and jump on people and furniture. I would take her for daily walks and mentally stimulating toys that assisted with training her to redirect her energy and respect those who do not wish to be jumped on. I taught her how to go outside, as she had only gone indoors on a pad. I taught her socialization - considerably reducing barking at people (to include children) and other animals (to include birds, squirrels, other dogs, etc.). This same dog, who did not care for people, instantly felt comfortable enough to leave the owner and move in with me. She came to adore me so much that the only time she barked or cried was when I had to leave her home for quick runs to the grocery store. Early mornings and evenings are currently best for me; however, I am willing to negotiate and work with you if you let me know you and your pet(s)'s needs. My goal is to satisfy the needs and comfort of each owner and pet. If your pet enjoys company, I am able to provide that.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 then I got another one that was all my responsibility when I was 15. I went through basic, intermediate, and advanced training and I hold titles in all of them for my dog. I’ve dog sat my friends little Yorkie mix and I myself have a 90 pound golden doodle and a 45 pound Irish troodle so I’ve been with and handled dogs of all sizes. I’ve always had a love for animals and not to brag but all the animals I meet love me too lol. I am very responsible and have been taking care of dogs for a long time now. I am a new grad school student with a part time job. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and growing up, neighbors and friends would often reach out to me for pet care! I also volunteered at an animal shelter through middle and high school and, in addition to learning how to properly care for animals, I also learned a lot about reading dog and cat behavior and body language. I also have experience giving medication to cats and dogs (even the most stubborn and wriggly of them all), so if your pet requires medication, you can feel confident that they will get it!
