About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, piranha, bunnies, turtles and rodents, etc! I have always loved and seen animals as the more primal side of our nature but that’s one of the purest forms of love that one can give! I am currently working full time at NIH, and after about 3:30pm, I work with animals around my community. Weekends I like to volunteer with people struggling with bigger dogs and temperament issues. Walking and leash training is key in my experience. I have a big yard for good time and to keep them safe! I love being outside, and making sure that the animals are safe while doing so is of the utmost importance to me !

About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I love making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. For the past five years, family and friends have trusted me to care for both their dogs and cats, including overnight stays. I recently spent 10 days house sitting for a family friend while caring for their 100+ pound Goldendoodle. We went on multiple walks each day, enjoyed plenty of playtime, stayed on a consistent potty schedule, and, of course, got lots of cuddles in. I know how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed. At home, I have a 14-year-old cat who means the absolute world to me. Caring for her over the years has given me firsthand experience with the love, patience, and attention pets deserve every single day. I’m currently a senior pre-med student at the University of Maryland, so being dependable, organized, and attentive comes naturally to me. I have reliable transportation and would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were part of my own family. Now that the fall semester has begun, I’m primarily available for pet care in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays, usually from 4 PM onward. I’m also available throughout the day on weekends! I really enjoy spending time with animals, so I’m always happy to make room in my schedule for walks, drop-ins, or quality time with your pets. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes and neighborhoods, whether that means overnight stays, drop-in visits, or walks. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or other care needs. About: All my life I have loved animals. I greet the pet before the human most times lol. Having had a family dog majority of my life, and now seeing all my siblings have their own pets (dogs & cats), I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to watch your pet, because pets are family! It brings me so much joy to spend time with animals and be able to provide them a safe space to play, explore, eat, sleep, and be loved on! Animals want to feel comfortable and safe just like humans do, and I am joining Rover so I can help provide this type of care for more loving pet owners 😊 If your dog stays with me we will: go on a minimum of 2 15-30 minute walks, have plenty of play time inside and outside, and be cuddled up on the couch enjoying each other's love. I will also send you plenty of pics with updates of how our time together is going! I want to give your pet the best experience while you are away so they feel okay with the unavoidable time apart. Let me rid you of pet parent anxiety & guilt. Trust that with me, your pet with be safe and have a great time 😊 I work remotely, so I have flexibility between the hours of 7am to 7pm to: pick up or drop off a pet, let a dog out to use the bathroom and get some fresh air, take a dog out on multiple walks and socialize them if their parent wants/allows that, be in the home whenever the pet wants attention and love, stimulate their brain by playing with them, and feed it breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I want to ensure a pet gets the most out of their day! I have been caring for animals most of my life, and I care for them as if they are my own pets. I make sure their needs (food, water, bed/sleeping area) are easily accessible and that I am available to them whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and communal courtyard, making bathroom breaks and outdoor playtime/exploration easy! I also have an open living room and a long hallway making indoor playtime fun and doable! And I have windows that look out onto the street and nature to keep their mind busy on those days the weather isn't the best (and they may not want to be outside). When on walks, I am alert and ensure they are always close to me and in safe situations. I know all the safe foods & medicines cats and dogs can have, as well as the unsafe foods & meds, which I make sure are put away and/out of reach for the animal. I know when to be stern in my tone of voice to discipline a dog when necessary (e.g. out on a walk and they are pulling or I need to get their attention, if they have gotten into something that they shouldn't have, etc.). I want to always make sure the pet is safe from harm when with me. They are like children to me, and I will do anything to protect a child! In addition to ensuring the pets safety, I love to snuggle and give pets all throughout the day, providing the pet with lots of love and comfort. Making them happy makes me happy!

About: I've always had a special love for pets that allows me to treat every pet like my own. To love and nurture them like my child. I don't have much experience being a sitter but I can always gain & work harder to ensure the best experience for every pet. I'm currently a part-time worker, permitting me to have a lot of available time which I would love to spend with your pups. All weekend I'm available & Tuesdays. About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.

As a distance runner who loves training for races, I am a fantastic match for high-energy breeds that need to burn off steam with long, active routes. I work a hybrid 9-5 job, but I am remote on Mondays and Fridays, and my hours are very flexible, so most days I don't leave for the office until 9:30 or I come home early around 3:30! I love taking my dogs out on walks in the morning when it is nice and cool outside to avoid the heat, as well as letting them out to play with me in the backyard so that they can stretch their legs. I love to give them extra pets and treats as a small reward for their physical activities.

About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine!
