About: Ever since I was a little girl, I've always loved animals. I was gifted my first cat when I moved out at 20. I currently own 3 cats who I love so much. I'd love to care for your fur baby as well! (: My work schedule is the same every week. Please let me know what your pets’ needs are, and I'll be happy to accommodate. If you have any questions about my availability, please message me! I will treat your fur babies the way I'd like someone to treat mine, with love and respect. I've pet-sat friends and family pets, and I can be very trustworthy inside your home and outside when taking care of your pet.

Candice is AMAZING!!! She has a genuine love and heart for fur babies. Jace & Candice instantly connected during their 1st meet and greet 💙 She was very interested in understanding everything about Jace from his habits, the food and treats he likes most even his favorite toys! Such a comfort to know that our boy Jace would be in the care of such a loving sitter. Candice shared updates and photos while we were away and made sure that Jace was happy. Thank you sooooo much Candice, we cannot wait to have you care for Jace again. Welcome to the family 😊

About: I had a large family dog (120 lbs) for 12 years. He loved to bark so I’m used to dogs who might need that extra bit of attention during the day. I can help with any pills that need to be taken, special food, and practice any training your dog might be working on. While I’ve never been a dog walker as a job I’ve made many fur friends over the years and am excited to meet yours! I’m available to be a regular walker for your dog every day! I’m currently between jobs after a layoff so I’m eager to spend time with your doggies. I’m comfortable with large dogs. I can walk your dog around the neighborhood with ease as I had a large shepherd-lab mix from puppyhood to his tragic passing from cancer at 12 years old. I know how hot the pavement is so if your dog doesn’t have boots, I’ll try to keep them in either your yard or in the grass. Please be sure to let me know if your dog is reactive and any commands you use. We will run through the commands before the first walk.

We were very nervous to leave our cat alone for a week. Haley was attentive and patient during the meet and greet. She was empathetic to our nervousness and sent extra pics during her drop ins to make sure we felt confident Albert was doing okay. We especially appreciated the pics of his food and water. She listened and followed our instructions, made sure both locks on our doors were secure, and we came home to a happy cat and a home in perfect order. Will absolutely be booking with Haley anytime we need care for Albert.

About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I can do doggy daycare in my house if your furry friend gets along with mine, but also more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them, or letting them out into the yard.

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, and dogs have always been part of my daily routine. I regularly walk, feed, and play with them and would consider myself a natural when it comes to canine companions. In fact, a dog is usually the first thing to greet me when I wake up in the morning! Because I have a dog of my own, and interact with other dogs frequently, I understand their body language and cues, and can thus anticipate their needs and behavior in any given situation. I am patient, kind, and loving in all my interactions with dogs, as they are truly a humans best friend. I look forward to the opportunity to spend time with, and care for, your companions as if they were my own. With 3 dogs and 5 cats, I am well versed in everything from dog park etiquette, to deep litter box cleaning. My daily routine always consists of animal care, from morning until night. With the animals I have in my house, I would prefer to sit at the clients home. I am very low maintenance, and leave no trace of my presence, other than a happy pet waiting for your return.

About: I have years of experience with animals. From turtles, to large cane corsos and Perro de Presa Canarios, to a small Yorkie - puppies to adults, to kittens and cats. I fostered a puppy into adulthood when care became overwhelming for the original owner. She is energetic and would run and jump on people and furniture. I would take her for daily walks and mentally stimulating toys that assisted with training her to redirect her energy and respect those who do not wish to be jumped on. I taught her how to go outside, as she had only gone indoors on a pad. I taught her socialization - considerably reducing barking at people (to include children) and other animals (to include birds, squirrels, other dogs, etc.). This same dog, who did not care for people, instantly felt comfortable enough to leave the owner and move in with me. She came to adore me so much that the only time she barked or cried was when I had to leave her home for quick runs to the grocery store. Early mornings and evenings are currently best for me; however, I am willing to negotiate and work with you if you let me know you and your pet(s)'s needs. My goal is to satisfy the needs and comfort of each owner and pet. If your pet enjoys company, I am able to provide that.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old so with dogs of every size and temperament, from laid-back seniors to high-energy pups, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s personality and needs. I know how much routine and comfort matter to dogs, especially when their people are away, which is why I love doing home visits: your dog gets to stay in their own space, with their own smells, toys, and schedule. My flexible schedule means I can be reliable and consistent, whether that’s a quick daily drop-in or something more frequent. I treat every dog like I’d want mine treated. throughout the day which means dogs in my care get consistent attention, bathroom breaks, and company instead of long stretches alone. It also makes home visits easy to fit in, since I’m not squeezing them in around a commute or office hours. When I’m in your home, I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine; same feeding times, same walk schedule, same little habits they’re used to. I do a walk-through of the home and yard first to spot anything that needs extra attention (gates, fencing, escape routes), then spend quality time with your dog: play, cuddles, or just company. I send photo updates so you can see they’re settled and happy. I keep dogs leashed and under control at all times, paying attention to their comfort around other dogs, people, and traffic. Since I’ve lived with dogs of all temperaments, I adjust pace and route to what suits your dog — whether that’s a calm sniff-around walk or something more active.

About: I work as an assistant manager at Preston’s Country Club for Pets, supporting daily kennel operations. What sets me apart is the experienced, attentive care I give every pet. I take time to learn their personality, routines, and comfort needs, with hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and providing gentle medication support. I am currently attending University of Maryland, however I only have class for few hours a day. My schedule for classes are Mondays/Wednesdays 9-11:30 and Tuesdays/Thursdays 10- 12:30. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their established routines to keep pets comfortable and stress free. This includes feeding according to instructions, providing fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I also maintain the home by cleaning up after pets, keeping food and litter areas tidy, and sending regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for while they’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, piranha, bunnies, turtles and rodents, etc! I have always loved and seen animals as the more primal side of our nature but that’s one of the purest forms of love that one can give! I am currently working full time at NIH, and after about 3:30pm, I work with animals around my community. Weekends I like to volunteer with people struggling with bigger dogs and temperament issues. Walking and leash training is key in my experience. I have a big yard for good time and to keep them safe! I love being outside, and making sure that the animals are safe while doing so is of the utmost importance to me !

About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.
