“Bria took care of our 40 lb pooch for a long weekend in October. It seemed like Mocha had a great time. The fact that Bria owns a dog was a plus for Mocha, since they got along well. I think the starting point for a lot of services including pet sitting is good clear communication and this is a strength for Bria. She is easy to reach, easy to make arrangements with, and quick to follow-up. She is interested in a good experience for the pet and attentive to details regarding any particular pet, which puts an owner's mind at ease. Good frequency of photos during Mocha's stay to give us a sense that things were alright. Also Bria's location is great for Petworth area - convenient and near the center of things but with a nice peaceful section of neighborhood for walks. Overall great experience and we would recommend her and have Mocha with her again.”

About: I grew up with a dog and cat that made me realize at a young age just how important they are in the household. That’s why when I got my own place, I knew I had to adopt! My beloved dog, Laya, has recently passed so I figured this would be a great time to provide my home to others needing a temporary safe, loving space. I’m extremely outdoorsy, so going on a walk, run or whatever your canine companion may want is more than okay with me! Playing fetch and tug-o-war is part of my daily activities... Oh! And don’t forget the belly rubs! About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. I've always had dogs in my life. About: I've taken care of a wide array of dogs ranging in size, age, and breed. I've fed, bathed, and trained dogs ranging from Yorkshire Terriers to Golden Doodles to German Shepherds. I currently attend morning classes from 8:30-11:30 Monday through Fridays so times in the afternoon typically after 1:00 is most suitable. My schedule shifts on weekends as I do not attend classes on those days but I do prefer to care for animals in the morning or early afternoon. While I do have two animals of my own, both my dogs are trained and do not bite. However, should I pet-sit for someone, my animals would stay on a different level of my house than the animal I'm watching to avoid any problems. I have a dog gate blocking access to my kitchen and free space for any animals to roam free if they want.

About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. About: Hello! As a college student, the last couple years have been the first time in my life when I didn't have a dog in the house. Growing up, we always had animals, as did my extended family, so not being around them has been kind of a bummer. I really enjoy taking care of animals. The sort of love we give and recieve from them is really special, and very important to me. I've been taking care of the family dogs (and cats!), since I was a preteen. Whenever a relative or friend went on a long trip, or a short one, I would be the they asked to check up on the dogs, stay with them, take care of them. Sometimes that meant staying in the home, other times just visiting throughout the day. I also have experience taking care of older dogs, young puppies, and those with special medical needs. For many years, my family had two dogs Jackson and Billie, who were brother and sister and had the same congenital condition. When they had flare-ups I took care of giving them their medicine and keeping an eye on them. I look forward to helping keep your pets safe, healthy, and happy! Luckily, I have quite a bit of flexibility built into my schedule. Most of the work I'm doing can be done from anywhere at most times of day. Because of this, there's some variation week-to-week and day-to-day but I'm happy to move things around to make things work for your family! Of course, all pets are different! I'm happy to work with you to make the best experience for your animal. I'm always delighted to play tug-of-war, fetch, or anything else! I go on multiple walks a day, everyday, so I'm very happy to bring some company along in the form of your pup. If your pets prefer to stay in, though, I can think of no better pastime than cuddling with them.

For dog walking, I tailor each walk to the dog - whether that means a leisurely stroll for a senior pup or a more energetic outing for a high-energy breed. I always make sure they're secure on leash, properly hydrated, and back home happy. Above all, I treat every pet with the same patience and attention I would give my own - because I know how much they mean to their families.
About: I’ve been a fur mom to two senior cats, Ana and Tyler, since they were kittens. I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets including cats, dogs and other pets. I’m reliable and want to make sure every pet has the care they need while their parents are away. I’m available for drop-ins on weekdays before 10am and after 6pm. I’m also available for drop-ins on weekends before 12pm, and Sundays after 4pm. I can crate a small dog in my home for overnight boarding. I can also come to your home to feed and spend time with your cat or dog.

It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.
About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. I've always had dogs in my life. I've taken them out for walks, played with them, fed them and cared for them. I haven't had a dog of my own yet but I am looking forward to the day that I can! About: I grew up with a dog and cat that made me realize at a young age just how important they are in the household. That’s why when I got my own place, I knew I had to adopt! My beloved dog, Laya, has recently passed so I figured this would be a great time to provide my home to others needing a temporary safe, loving space. I’m extremely outdoorsy, so going on a walk, run or whatever your canine companion may want is more than okay with me! Playing fetch and tug-o-war is part of my daily activities... Oh! And don’t forget the belly rubs! My love for animals has peaked over the years, so this is an amazing opportunity for me to help them and their human companions live a happy, pawsitive, and adventure-filled life. :) I currently am only open on weekends due to my 9-5 job during the week and wanting to have enough time for your furry loved one.
