About: I've been pet-sitting dogs and cats from a young age, and have cared for my own dog for almost five years now. I've also spent a year working as a veterinary assistant, and have experience creating safe and comfortable environments for all sorts of pets. I would love the opportunity to take care of your dogs, cats, or other small animals! I'm currently studying in college, so my schedule can vary during the week. Right now, my classes typically land around midday, so the mornings and evenings are when I’m best available to help! On most weekends, my availability is flexible towards whatever is needed. When visiting a home, I do my best to maintain order, cleanliness, and comfort while working with a pet. Structure and routine are important, and I'm dedicated to providing animals with the things they need in a timely fashion that minimizes stress. I make sure that any schedule we have, whether that be a walk, a visit, or playtime, is done at the pet's pace and prioritizes their enjoyment.

Great communication and tons of fun pictures! Our two girls looked like they had so much fun packed into one walkie and playtime! They were also able to help us on relatively short notice. We'll definitely be contacting you guys (and gals) again. Remi and Mae say thank you!

About: I enjoy spending time with my dog and learning about dogs. I got my first dog 6 years ago and ever since it’s been life-changing I’m currently fully remote and free most weekends so, I’ll be available for the most part. I do live in an apartment so I can’t board or dog sit inside my space. I like to go on walks, runs, spend time teaching commands and go on trails. I like to communicate with the owner before giving out treats to make sure they’re good to have or update them on their potty time in case something is off.

Alex was great. Communication was excellent, provided pictures, and took very good care of our pups. Made being away less stressful. I do recommend him, and will use his services again.

Taryn was prompt in responding to my request to walk my dog Leo and went over and beyond what was expected of her while walking him. She changed his water after walking him (voluntarily) and left detailed reports for each day she walked him. Thank you Taryn!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including my own 13-year-old companion, Angel. She’s a wonderful example of how older pets can still be energetic and joyful with the right care and attention. I understand the unique needs of senior animals, such as gentle exercise, medication management, and extra patience. Additionally, I’m skilled at adapting activities to suit each pet’s age and personality, whether it’s training puppies or providing comfort to older pets. My compassionate approach ensures every pet feels safe, loved, and engaged, no matter their stage of life. I work part time so i’m just down to do this whenever I am free . THE MORE BABIES THE BETTER , I have a semi flexible schedule I have a fenced yard and I can care for your baby almost as well as you can IF YOU LET ME GIMME THE FUR BABIESSSSS

About: ANIMALS BRING ME HAPPINESS!!! Hi, I’m Tiara! Thanks so much for considering me to watch your pet. Your precious pet is my precious pet during the moments I share with them!! Taking care of animals is a natural thing for me so maintaining the expectations of you and your pet will be quite comforting for your fur baby/babies! I have rescued many dogs and cats and also returned some back to their owner just because of the love I have for animals! I had one stay at my house until the owner returned phone calls and then gladly returned her back home. It seems my heart is the fullest when it comes to animals. I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. I have been around dogs since I can remember and grew to love cats. My family has always had dogs around from all sizes. My best friend was a Schnauzer and I miss him dearly. I understand that each dog has their own schedule and would be more then happy to make their stay feel just like home. I enjoy taking dogs out on long walks and making sure we have fun and has plenty of comfort the entire time we are together! Pet care—it’s a way of life for me. Every day, I get to immerse myself in the joy and energy that animals bring. From the moment I start my day, I’m ready to give dogs the love and attention they deserve, whether it's taking them on an exciting walk, providing a cozy space for them to relax, or simply being there to offer companionship while their owners are away. My routine is built around ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and loved. It’s not just about providing a service; it’s about being part of their lives and offering peace of mind to their families. Every wag of a tail or happy bark is a reminder of why I do what I do! I treat every dog or cat that comes into my home as part of the family. My space is fur-friendly, with plenty of room for play, rest, and relaxation. Plenty of treats, extra waters or more interactive play , or private space for cats. When fur pets and I are together, I ensure they feel safe and comfortable from the moment we are together. I keep their routines consistent, whether it's regular walks, playtime, or meals, to help them feel at ease. I also offer lots of attention and affection, so they never feel alone or anxious. Whatever your pet needs, they will receive! And for dogs or cats that need a little extra TLC, I’m always ready for cuddles and one-on-one time to make sure they feel loved and cared for throughout our moments together.

Layla was awesome. I would use her and Rover again anytime. She got there early, took my dog for a little longer than expected and brought him back safely every time her communication was great. She interfaced with both me and my friend who was watching the dog. She is kind, responsible and communicative. Five stars for Layla!

About: Hi, My name is Alison, a nursing student with a special place in her heart for doggies. I have been raising a Shih Tzu named Terry, and a Bichon Frise named Lucky. Terry has been the first to be under my complete care since he was 4 months old. He is now 12 years old. Lucky was an unexpected gift from the universe, and was given to us at 1 year old. He is now 5. Both have received nothing but pure attention and love, and I would not hesitate to give your pet the same. Update: my services have now changed after many years. I currently only offering doggie-walks. Thank you for your understanding. My current schedule is very flexible. If there is any conflict with scheduling please let me know so we can come up with a solution that works for the both of us. Please let me know any specific information I should know about your home and neighborhood to be able to ensure both of our safety while still having fun.

About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and respect I have for dogs. I believe dogs are not just pets—they are cherished members of the family. I treat every dog in my care with patience, kindness, and attention, just as I would my own. My goal is to give dog parents complete peace of mind, knowing their fur baby is safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. • Puppy training & obedience reinforcement • Senior dog care & medication administration • Positive reinforcement training • High-attention, compassionate care • Reliable routines & clear communication • Puppy training & obedience reinforcement • Senior dog care & medication administration • Positive reinforcement training • High-attention, compassionate care • Reliable routines & clear communication I allow pets on all furniture, my bed, my chairs, couches. I don’t believe that pets shouldn’t be allowed on furniture. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I currently have ample time and flexibility to dedicate to dogs in my care. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, training reinforcement, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. After recently losing my own dog to kidney failure, I understand deeply how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby. That experience has strengthened my commitment to providing attentive, compassionate care and treating every dog as if they were my own. I’m able to give dogs my undivided attention, whether that means extra comfort for senior dogs, structured routines for puppies, or simply being present to ensure they feel safe, loved, and at ease. My goal is to give dog parents complete peace of mind, knowing their fur baby is receiving the same care, patience, and love I would want for my own.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
