“Asha was amazing. You can tell that she really cares for your pet and will take extreme caution while they are in her care. After each walk she communicated various aspects of the walk to include, my pet’s behaviors to strangers and people she knew and anything else a pet parent would be concerned with. She has a very warm personality and I would definitely use her again.”

About: Hi, My name is Alison, a nursing student with a special place in her heart for doggies. I have been raising a Shih Tzu named Terry, and a Bichon Frise named Lucky. Terry has been the first to be under my complete care since he was 4 months old. He is now 12 years old. Lucky was an unexpected gift from the universe, and was given to us at 1 year old. He is now 5. Both have received nothing but pure attention and love, and I would not hesitate to give your pet the same. Update: my services have now changed after many years. I currently only offering doggie-walks. Thank you for your understanding. My current schedule is very flexible. If there is any conflict with scheduling please let me know so we can come up with a solution that works for the both of us. Please let me know any specific information I should know about your home and neighborhood to be able to ensure both of our safety while still having fun.

“Alexandra is so sweet and kind to chaos! I’m truly so grateful with her support.”

About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I am unable to pet sit in my apartment, but more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them inside, or letting them out into the yard.

About: I always grew up with dogs and love the joy and excitement they have. I enjoy being active and find that walks are even more enjoyable with pets! I’ve grown up with a chihuahua, chug (chihuahua-pug), shelty, Boston terrier, Taiwanese mountain dog (not all at the same time haha), so I am comfortable with a range of sizes of dogs. My family also owns an adorable cat and I love cats too. I am very caring and calm and will happily be patient with your pet as they may need time to feel more comfortable in a new presence. I work full time with a flexible schedule, so I’m mostly available for midday walks or overnight dog boarding. I do work from home on some days and will likely be taking breaks for a dog walk as it fits into my schedule. I have an apartment that is shared with my partner. We have enough room in the living room to accommodate a crate/ dog bed or any overnight essentials. If the dog is more comfortable sleeping in the bedroom that is also an option, as my dogs growing up always preferred this. I live near a lot of grass so there is plenty of room for easy potty breaks and I live near a large lake with a trail that I could easily take the dog to. I am happy to play with them or even practice tricks they may be working on!

About: I am an animal lover and especially love dogs! I have always felt a special connection with animals and love being around them. I have years of experience with my own dogs including having raised two puppies. I am experienced with administering medications as I have a senior dog who has both cataracts and diabetes. I also have experience with small, medium, and large dogs. I work full time from home as a mental health counselor. Available all times Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Available Monday through Thursday before 10AM and after 6PM. I am very attentive and cautious especially when it comes to caring for animals. I will send rover cards with each visit to ease any anxiety about your baby.

About: Connecting with animals has always come easy to me, whether I'm admiring a lizard from afar, or cuddling a cozy kitty. My bond with animals led me to become a go-to pet sitter for my friends and family. In my experience of pet-sitting, and raising a puppy of my own, I learned about the proper care and attention that is required for a pet. As well as the irreplaceable love you gain for them. I am a student at GMU, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I do have my own dog at home, so I am limited to only a night or two for overnight care. I will prioritize your pet's health and well-being because I know how worrisome it can be each time you leave, from just a regular work day to a long vacation. They are your family, and the whole time you entrust them into my care, they are my family too.

Rebekah H.
“Rebekah has been the best pet sitter for my two cats and I can’t recommend her enough. She has regularly watched them over the past five years and takes care of them like they are her own. Before she watched them for the first time, she asked a number of questions about their care (diet restrictions, feeding times, vet contact information, etc) and inquired about each of the cats personalities and quirks, including how they like to be handled and their favorite toys. She visited the cats every day and provided updates and pictures on how they were doing, which was wonderful to receive while I was away! I always know my boys are in good hands when I’m away, and I would recommend Rebekah to anyone in need of a pet sitter!”
