I have been volunteering for a local animal rescue group for 11 years, including dog fostering, dog walking, adoption events, medical issues, etc. I have worked with seniors needing multiple medications and behavioral challenges. I also cat and bird sit for a neighbor regularly.

She takes the time to build trust with each dog and makes them feel comfortable and safe. She’s also an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and giving us complete peace of mind. Schedule
While I have a full time job, I work at home 100% of the time. So I am available to do mid day walks on my lunch break, host dogs in my home, check up on kitties. My full time job ends at 3:30 so I have late afternoon/evening flexibility, and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have 2 dogs, but I sometimes foster for rescue. I have a fenced in yard, but dogs are never left alone in the yard. I will be outside supervising.

A typical day
Besides playing in the fenced yard, we can check out the neighborhood smells on walks. I also have plenty of toys to play with. We can also play some mental stimulation games like "touch" or "find it".
