About: I've been pet-sitting dogs and cats from a young age, and have cared for my own dog for almost five years now. I've also spent a year working as a veterinary assistant, and have experience creating safe and comfortable environments for all sorts of pets. I would love the opportunity to take care of your dogs, cats, or other small animals! I'm currently studying in college, so my schedule can vary during the week. Right now, my classes typically land around midday, so the mornings and evenings are when I’m best available to help! On most weekends, my availability is flexible towards whatever is needed. When visiting a home, I do my best to maintain order, cleanliness, and comfort while working with a pet. Structure and routine are important, and I'm dedicated to providing animals with the things they need in a timely fashion that minimizes stress. I make sure that any schedule we have, whether that be a walk, a visit, or playtime, is done at the pet's pace and prioritizes their enjoyment.
“Julie was a pleasure. My girl, Bella, adored her. A sweet energy and extremely accommodating. Would absolutely love to have her take care of my girl, in the future.”

“Layla was awesome. I would use her and Rover again anytime. She got there early, took my dog for a little longer than expected and brought him back safely every time her communication was great. She interfaced with both me and my friend who was watching the dog. She is kind, responsible and communicative. Five stars for Layla!”

“Alex is conscientious and trustworthy. Wilma has taken to him, and I'm so pleased it's one less thing for me to worry about. He has an instinct around her and that's from his experience. Highly recommend!”

About: I enjoy spending time with my dog and learning about dogs. I got my first dog 6 years ago and ever since it’s been life-changing I’m currently fully remote and free most weekends so, I’ll be available for the most part. I do live in an apartment so I can’t board or dog sit inside my space. I like to go on walks, runs, spend time teaching commands and go on trails. I like to communicate with the owner before giving out treats to make sure they’re good to have or update them on their potty time in case something is off.
“Carla was on time and sent me pictures of the walk she took with my dog. I appreciate her help and she has been flexible with my confusing schedule. Would recommend and plan to use her services again in the future.”

“Will be using Luisa again! What a great experience from start to finish with our first walk. Great communication as well and helped ease of first time anxiousness with a dog walker.”

“Bethany was absolutely wonderful with Bentley! She was kind, reliable, and clearly has a natural love for animals. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind. Bentley came home happy, calm, and well cared for. I really appreciated her attention to detail and the extra care she put into making sure he was comfortable and safe. I would highly recommend Bethany to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Great communication and tons of fun pictures! Our two girls looked like they had so much fun packed into one walkie and playtime! They were also able to help us on relatively short notice. We'll definitely be contacting you guys (and gals) again. Remi and Mae say thank you!”

I love any and all pets so if hired I’ll care for them as my own I’m currently working part time in the afternoons from 3-6 along with play rehearsals on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Saturday’s (I’m not called every day) but during the day I’m free for sitting, walking, and playing. My compassionate approach ensures every pet feels safe, loved, and engaged, no matter their stage of life. I work part time so i’m just down to do this whenever I am free . THE MORE BABIES THE BETTER , I have a semi flexible schedule I have a fenced yard and I can care for your baby almost as well as you can IF YOU LET ME GIMME THE FUR BABIESSSSS
About: Hi, My name is Alison, a nursing student with a special place in her heart for doggies. I have been raising a Shih Tzu named Terry, and a Bichon Frise named Lucky. Terry has been the first to be under my complete care since he was 4 months old. He is now 12 years old. Lucky was an unexpected gift from the universe, and was given to us at 1 year old. He is now 5. Both have received nothing but pure attention and love, and I would not hesitate to give your pet the same. Update: my services have now changed after many years. I currently only offering doggie-walks. Thank you for your understanding. My current schedule is very flexible. If there is any conflict with scheduling please let me know so we can come up with a solution that works for the both of us. Please let me know any specific information I should know about your home and neighborhood to be able to ensure both of our safety while still having fun.
About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I can do doggy daycare in my house if your furry friend gets along with mine, but also more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them, or letting them out into the yard.

About: I’ve been a fur mom to two senior cats, Ana and Tyler, since they were kittens. I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets including cats, dogs and other pets. I’m reliable and want to make sure every pet has the care they need while their parents are away. I’m available for drop-ins on weekdays before 10am and after 6pm. I’m also available for drop-ins on weekends before 12pm, and Sundays after 4pm. I can crate a small dog in my home for overnight boarding. I can also come to your home to feed and spend time with your cat or dog.
About: Hi! My name is Renee and I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I grew up in a household with many different kinds of pets including dogs, rodents, and reptiles. I currently own two small dogs, Shih Tzu and Maltese mixes, one is 13 and the other is 3. I love all animals and am comfortable with them all. I’m currently unemployed so I have tons of time to care for and play with your furry friends! I’m mostly available on weekends as I have responsibilities weekdays, but I’m very flexible! I have a fenced in yard. I would keep my dogs separate just as a proactive measure since they are small. In your home I would care for your precious pet how you see fit!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
