“Abby was great! She spent quality time with our dog, throwing fetch, taking water breaks, giving her attention/petting her, and gave her a treat before leaving since she was a good girl. We will definitely be hiring her again!”

“Layla is AWESOME SAUCE!! My kitties are typically "anti-humam other than mommy", but one of my kitties actually made contact with her several times. Layla is very sweet, she's observant, she's thoughtful, she's polite, and she genuinely loves and cares for animals. I'm so happy I was able to find her to look after my babies while I was away. I wasn't worried one bit because I knew she was dropping in on them while I was gone, and she took very good care of them!”

About: Hi! I love all animals and pets! I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, birds, hamsters, hermit crabs, and horses as those are the pets I have owned growing up and through adulthood. Most of my care experience has been either for my own pets or for family and friends—all with glowing recommendations! I know basic AFA (Animal First Aid), however, I am not yet certified. I am confident caring for animals of all ages, young through senior. I can provide care for animals that need medications and those with asthma. I would love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work as a nanny to this sweet girl. She’s school aged so I mostly just handle afterschool pickup and care. My schedule may change once school ends late June, however, this can be discussed. It will most likely stay within the hours of the afternoon. My hours currently are 2pm-6pm every weekday. I do not work on the weekends and with afternoon pickup I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your fur babies! I am confident caring for all animals in any space. I am great at following directions, anything you leave will be followed to ensure your fur baby is well taken care of. I always make sure they are well fed, well maintained, and loved while their human is away. Each animal is different and the type of care given depends on the individual pet. All pets will be loved and looked after as if they were my own.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have had several pets of my own growing up, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve looked after dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I always treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to making sure your pet feels loved, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I recently graduated, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I’m happy to help. I know how important consistency is for pets, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, for both you and your pet. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walking routes. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can feel confident they’re happy and doing well. I also treat every home with the utmost respect and will care for your pet as if they were part of my own family.

About: Growing up, caring for animals wasn’t just a hobby—it was a responsibility I took on from a young age. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve been helping stray animals by providing food, basic care, and safe spaces whenever possible. That early experience shaped my deep understanding of animal behavior, especially with shy, anxious, or previously neglected pets. In addition to hands-on experience with strays, I’ve volunteered at pet rescue organizations where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, socializing animals, and preparing them for adoption. This has given me experience with pets of all temperaments, including those who need extra patience and attention. Pet sitting has become a steady and meaningful part of my daily routine while I am unemployed. It gives structure to my day, keeps me active, and provides a sense of responsibility. Caring for animals, managing feeding schedules, and ensuring their comfort helps me stay productive while also earning some income and maintaining a positive mindset during this transitional period. --- I do not have pets of my own, but I provide attentive and reliable care for pets in both my home and my clients’ homes, depending on the service requested. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, while also ensuring the home remains clean and secure. If caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment with regular supervision, exercise, and consistent routines to help pets feel at ease. My focus is always on maintaining the pet’s normal schedule and providing a calm, caring experience.
About: I helped raise 3 dogs from puppyhood and cared for one senior dog and cat. The senior dog had major health problems, so I'm more than comfortable caring for pets with specific needs and health difficulties. I'm currently involved in volunteer work, and my schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to be available for the summer. Scheduling will be tailored around you and your pet's unique needs. As a pre-law student, I highly value and respect trust, safety, and boundaries. I promise to respect you, your home, and of course, your pet.
About: I’ve had a dog at home forever, and during covid I fostered all kinds of dogs: puppies, great danes, traumatized rescues, etc. I am not phased by slobber, poop, or throw up and I have never met a dog I didn’t love. I’m a full time student at University of Maryland, living in an off campus apartment with a car. I live with one roommate. My lifestyle is chill, and extra walks with your furry friend would fit right in. I will gladly take your pet on a short or long walk based on your (and the pet’s) preferences. I love to hang by the tv with my dog, or explore new outdoor areas. My apartment building allows dogs and has elevators and stairs. I live on the 3rd floor. I recently had my senior dog visit for the weekend, and we avoided the stairs completely.
About: I work as an assistant manager at Preston’s Country Club for Pets, supporting daily kennel operations. What sets me apart is the experienced, attentive care I give every pet. I take time to learn their personality, routines, and comfort needs, with hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and providing gentle medication support. I am currently attending University of Maryland, however I only have class for few hours a day. My schedule for classes are Mondays/Wednesdays 9-11:30 and Tuesdays/Thursdays 10- 12:30. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their established routines to keep pets comfortable and stress free. This includes feeding according to instructions, providing fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I also maintain the home by cleaning up after pets, keeping food and litter areas tidy, and sending regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for while they’re away.
“Lindsay is awesome! On time and super communicative. Her comfortability with Kai and overall experience is very comforting and Kai loved her. Looking forward to booking again soon!”

About: I’m available 24/7. Just shoot me a text or message! I’m available in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. :) I’ve done pet sitting, and dog walking for years now. My most professional experience was working as a Pet Care Associate at a pet boarding facility. My tasks included: - power washing and deep cleaning the suites the dogs and cats were staying in - meal preparation - feed the dogs - scheduled playtimes - scheduled walks - Tender Loving Care (TLC) - exercise on doggy treadmill Pet Sitting, pet walking/overall pet care is my full time job, so I have full open availability every day of the week, anytime of the week! Please do reach out and consider me to be your pets best friend and caretaker as I love dogs and cats and love seeing their cute fluffy faces :) For boarding purposes, I live in an apartment. There is a big fence and gate around the apartment building, a nearby walking trail, and even a dog park just an eight minute walk from my apartment. My apartment is dog and cat friendly as many of the residents have dogs and cats and other animals in their own units.
About: I've always wanted a dog but I never got a chance to have one growing up since my mom was allergic. Now that I have my own place I've realized that my true passion is taking care of other people’s dogs. I have my own reliable transportation and would be able to drop in for visits or walks. I am currently working full time in healthcare. The days I work vary but I do work 12 hour days 3 times a week. If one or more of the days you are requesting falls on one of my work days, your pet would have to be okay going without a bathroom break for up to 8 hours (I have a family member at home that would be able to take your pet for a walk while I am working). For boarding I live in a one bedroom townhouse with a fenced yard that is away from the main road. If you would like to board your pet with me, I will still be respectful of all the rules/boundaries you have for your pet at home (not allowed on the furniture, no people food, etc).

Layla was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They take some time to warm up to new people and Layla went at their pace. Within just a few visits the dogs were in love with her! Layla is very communicative about her visits and sends great picture updates. We’ll definitely be hiring her again in the future. Thank you, Layla!!

Connie has been a perfect addition to our pet sitters. We have a pretty anxious smaller pup who takes a while to warm up to strangers and she has been really patient with her. She is also great with our energetic young rottie. She is prompt with her replies to our requests for visits and even with last minute requests.
Catherine did an amazing job watching my babies while I was out of town. I am so glad I found her on here! It can be difficult finding someone trusted that is also good with your pets. Catherine came right in and immediately my two dogs took a liking to her. Thank you so much Catherine I’ll def be reaching out again soon!

Daniela was amazing with Bleu! She was Available at a last minute request, and she took such good care of my dog. Her communication was perfect, she was on time, and she was very friendly. Highly recommended! I will definitely be rebooking her when needed. My dog loved her soo much that she’s the only sitter I want to use moving forward lol. Thank You Daniela :)

Izcali is great! My sitter had an emergency and was not able to make it to my pets for night feedings. I reached out to Izcali and they were QUICK to respond and take care of what I needed. I really appreciate them being able to snap a few photos of my babies for me in the short time they were there.

Diana came at short notice to meet all my rescue dogs with their quarks. She took the time to get to know them and allow them to warm up to her. She was flexible and very easy to work with. She sent me updates letting me know I didn’t need to worry about my babies while I was away. I would recommend her if you’re looking for a caring and compassionate sitter.

Saniya did such an amazing Job during a drop and visit with my dog, Maya who is an 80lb rescue with some energy. Suffice to say Maya needs a gentle but firm caretaker. Saniya was perfect! Before our walk, she asked really important questions about how to take care of Maya. Will be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
