Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily rhythm. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or cozy evening visits, I genuinely enjoy making time for each fur-friend I care for. I build my schedule with intention, making sure I have plenty of time to focus fully on every visit. I believe animals deserve calm, unhurried attention—whether that means a slow stroll, a playful session, or simply sitting together and keeping them company. This isn’t something I “fit in” around other things—sharing time with animals is something I look forward to and build my days around, with a lot of heart.

Safety, trust & environment
When visiting a client's home, my goal is to create a calm, safe, and happy experience for their furry family member. Each visit is built around the animal’s needs—whether that's a refreshing walk, playtime, a quiet sit-together session, or making sure they enjoy their meals comfortably. I follow the routines and habits they’re familiar with, from feeding schedules to favorite walking paths to cuddle time (if they want it!). I always treat a client’s home with respect and care, keeping things clean, tidy, and leaving everything as I found it. My focus is to help animals feel relaxed, loved, and secure until their favorite humans return.
Information Maria C. would like to know about your pet
To help me provide the best possible care for your beloved furbaby, please tell me a bit more about their personality and any specific needs they might have. For example, do they have any favorite games, funny quirks, or things that make them a little nervous? The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to ensure they feel safe and happy!"
A typical day
Every day is an adventure! We go on sniff walks so their noses get a workout, enjoy treat breaks (pre-approved by their favorite human) to stay focused (especially at street crossings or around other dogs), and explore new corners of the neighborhood or nearby parks—whatever suits their vibe that day. I tailor each visit to match their energy and comfort level. If they’re ready for playtime, we head to a safe, enclosed outdoor space for soft toy games, agility-style fun (like cones, tunnels, or happy zoomies!), and plenty of encouragement and praise. I’m always mindful of their safety—keeping an eye out for hot pavement, winter salt, or trail debris that might bother sensitive paws. If meals are part of our visit, we follow with quiet rest time so they can relax and digest comfortably. And of course, fresh water is always available—even during walks. Hydrated, happy, and full of tail wags!

Fluff, Fun & Full-Hearted Care
Pet care experience
I believe deeply in meeting every animal where they are with patience, kindness, and understanding. Over the past few years, I’ve cared for fur human companions of all ages and personalities—from wiggly puppies learning the ropes to wise seniors who move at their own gentle pace. I adjust my care to fit each animal’s needs, whether it’s playful energy, calm companionship, or a steady, reassuring presence. I don’t rush. I don’t force. I listen—with soft steps, patient hands, and an open heart. Building trust, creating comfort, and respecting each unique spirit is at the core of everything I do. Because for me, it’s never just about walking a dog or filling a food bowl—it’s about making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood every step of the way.

Reviews

Maria is absolutely amazing! She was able to calm our reactive dog and her knowledge has also helped us make our family walks better for Mickey!

This is the second time Maria has looked over our cat Lucy for us for a few days and she was just as wonderful this time as she was the last time. She’s very caring and gives Lucy the love and attention she needs while she is home alone. We will for sure trust her again to take care of our Lucy when needed.
Maria provided home visits once a day to my home, to feed and spend time with my cat. She would send the details of the visits, pictures, videos in a timely manner. In addition my cat trusted Maria and it seems that her presence calmed him. I would use her services again.

Maria did an excellent job with my dog Shadow!! She came early so that she was able to meet him and really get his routine down. I was out of town for a week and she sent more than enough updates on the routine and my dogs well being and behavior while I was gone. If I ever need a sitter again I will be more than happy to rebook her a million times over!! Thank you Maria!
