About: Hello World! My name is Rouday and I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. In those 25 years I have had the privilege of raising three dogs, all different shapes and sizes. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, playing with them at dog parks, and loving up on my furry friends. I currently have an extremely flexible schedule as I work remotely and control my own workflow. I also have two young children that require schedule flexibility. Very safe secure building, which includes dedicated dog walking areas, and also room to groom pets as well. I share my DC home with two very different dogs: Eljay, a high-energy mini Bernedoodle who needs a real workout, and Bisou, a tiny terrier mix who runs entirely on her own agenda. Caring for both of them has made me a genuinely better walker. I know what an overstimulated dog looks like. I know when a dog needs to slow down, not speed up, and when they need a little extra engagement and attention. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a mid-day potty break, playtime, medication, feeding, puppy care, senior dog care, or just some company during a long day, I’ll follow your routines and give them my full attention every single visit. What actually sets me apart is my availability. I’m a music teacher with afternoon and evening hours, so my mornings and middays are open. That’s exactly when most dogs need care. When I show up, I’m present. Your dog won’t be treated like just another stop on a long route. I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including puppies, seniors, rescue dogs, and high-energy breeds that need more than a quick loop around the block. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining the routines that help dogs feel secure and happy. Every visit includes photos and a detailed update, so you’ll always know how your dog is doing. If anything seems off, I’ll communicate right away. I always start with a free meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s the right fit before booking. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I work as a music teacher with afternoon and evening commitments, which makes me genuinely available mid-morning and midday most days. Weekends work well too. For recurring bookings I aim for consistent timing so your pet settles into a reliable routine, and I always send a photo update so you know the visit went well. I've been around animals my whole life and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's pet seriously. I follow your instructions, respect your home, and pay attention to how your pet is feeling, whether something seems different, whether they need a little more time or a little more space that day. I'll always let you know how the visit went and reach out right away if anything gives me pause. Leaving a pet in someone's care requires real trust, and I don't take that lightly.

About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UMD studying black bear ecology. I have been an animal lover since I could talk. I own a German shepherd but I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve watched many animals throughout the years for colleagues and friends. I’m new to rover sitting but I am reliable, will be very communicative, and provide the best care to your furry friend. I am a full time student, but I have very flexible hours. I’m open any time on the weekends, as long as I have a few days notice. I can be flexible to your needs! I’ll send you photos, updates on when I am coming and going, follow any rule you have etc. I will care for your animal like my own.
