About: I've had 4 of my own dogs and have experience with new adoptees, terminally ill dogs, seniors, breeds of all energies, and I am attuned to their needs. I've fostered many dogs through various rescues and I'm trusted by friends and neighbors to dog sit and walk. I love dogs and nerd out about all kinds, but happy dogs are my favorite dogs. I'm currently unemployed, so my schedule is very flexible and open. I have one low-medium energy dog of my own who's happy to chill at home or can come along. I'm happy to take cues from you, do you like your dog to sit at every street crossing? Cool, we can do that. Are you working on pulling less? I've helped friends lessen their dogs pulling and I'm happy to work on that or take the walking routes you suggest. I'm happy to give any treats or meds you have prepared and I can adapt to your dog's style and needs.
“Jared was fantastic with our crew! We have a dog and cats who are pretty wary of strangers, but he was so patient and totally respected their boundaries. He eased in slowly and the results were great—everyone was happy and relaxed. The communication was awesome, and we loved getting all the updates. Plus, a huge extra thanks for cleaning up some cat vomit on our bedspread while we were out—definitely went above and beyond!”

“Camila is the best! Not only is she an amazing and thoughtful pet sitter, but she also takes the time to do extra things like grab packages and clean around pet areas!”

“Megan did an excellent job taking care of my cat Kaladin! Kaladin is usually very shy with strangers but trusted Megan almost instantly and had so much fun playing with her. I was able to feel completely relaxed on my trip knowing that my pet was well taken care of.”
“Rachel is amazing!! Bernard lights up when she comes for their Drop-in Visits! She never complains and always sticks to his schedule! I really appreciate her we're lucky to have found her!!”

“Nick took great care of my cat Oreo and made sure she got all of the attention she deserves to soothe her anxiety while I was away. Nick is very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend!”

“Mike was amazing with Scooby! He watched him for a couple of weeks and took great care of him the whole time. He was very helpful, easy to communicate with, and made sure we stayed updated every day by sending videos. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Scooby was in good hands. Highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rover 🙌🏽”

About: Hello World! My name is Rouday and I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. In those 25 years I have had the privilege of raising three dogs, all different shapes and sizes. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, playing with them at dog parks, and loving up on my furry friends. I currently have an extremely flexible schedule as I work remotely and control my own workflow. I also have two young children that require schedule flexibility. Very safe secure building, which includes dedicated dog walking areas, and also room to groom pets as well. Location is also close to some great parks and walking paths that dogs will enjoy
“Alexandra was great for our stop-in visits with the catboys while we were out of the country. She communicated well and took great care of them. Will reach out to her again in the future when we are out of town.”

“I can't recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire time. She also kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats, not just completing the job. When I came home, my cats were happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I truly appreciate all of her hard work and kindness. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including a Rottweiler, Labrador Retriever, and Shih Tzu. This experience has taught me how to handle everything from high-energy playtime to gentle companionship for smaller breeds. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I tailor my care to each dog’s unique needs and always prioritize their well-being, routine, and happiness. Pet care fits well into my schedule. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available after 3 PM most days and have open availability on weekends. This allows me to dedicate quality time to walks, playtime, feeding, and providing companionship. I’m committed to making sure pets receive attentive, reliable care and feel comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take them on walks, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they get any specific care requested by the owner. I also keep the home tidy and provide updates so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. Having cared for a Rottweiler, Labrador Retriever, and Shih Tzu, I’m comfortable with different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for every pet.
About: Dogs are family to me. When I was 9 years old we had a dog named Moti (means pearl in Hindi). Moti was a brother to me. He was always with us, playing in the yard, swimming in the pool and cuddling with us when we were sad and happy both. Since 2015, I have been dog-sitting a friends' dog named Cookie - she is a rescue dog who is part Jack Russell and part Beagle. Cookie is now part of the family and comes over for weeks at a time even when her owner is in town. I work from home, have a huge fenced-in backyard, can take dogs to the Media Arts Lab (co-share space) I sometimes work from, and am constantly going walking, hiking or running. It's a comfortable and warm environment for a dog. I'll provide plenty of care and attention. Looking forward to welcoming new dog friends into the house.

“Pascaline is a happy, outgoing person, and my small, somewhat shy dog took to her right away. Pascaline was able to “read” Zena and her need for calm and gentleness as well as a kind spirit. She kept us informed and included photos. I returned to a very happy little dog. Will request her services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pet. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 5. I have a fenced yard with my adorable dog Princess to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. Thx

“Mia is amazing!! So glad to know her! She is so great to work with and I feel like my cat is in wonderful hands. I hope she is available for my next trip.”

“I kept telling Rebecca she was a life saver and I truly meant it! This was our first time not just using Rover, but having a dog sitter in general. We have 4 dogs and one of them is”

About: I have been a lover of all animals for as far back as I can remember and have taken care of them both personally and professionally. I have been employed by zoos and aquariums, worked with tigers, made diets for birds of prey, and assisted Marine Biologists with shark tanks and coral reefs. My training has not just been in educating the public, but in positive reinforcements. Everything from dogs, cats, snakes, hedgehogs, frogs, and so many more have been in my care over the course of my life for one reason or another. I am my friends' go-to for anything they've ever been curious about when it comes to our natural world. And being a dog mom of two myself has been one of the most rewarding privileges I've been able to experience. Pet care for me is 24/7 for my own babies, but I am available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and some Wednesdays for any and all services. My pupperonies have been crate trained by me, but for the most part free roam. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.

McKenzie visited my two yorkies twice a day while I was away. This was the first time I had left without them, but they were very happy with her. They were fed well, and got treats, play time, and plenty of cuddles, McKenzie kept me informed about the dogs throughout my trip, and was very responsive when I texted and called. I highly recommend her services, and will rebook with her for my next trip in August.
Isabelle was amazing during my away trip. She was punctual and very sweet to my chihuahua. My dog is scared around new people but quickly warmed up to Isabelle. By the end they seemed like best friends! Thank you for the walks and I will be sure to book again! Highly recommend!

Sharon is amazing with our pup! She accommodated a weird one day schedule and fulfilled everything that was asked of her! Our pup left the day with her with a huge smile and a lot of memories! We got multiple updates and pictures throughout the day and she was very quick to reply to any questions.

Amy did a fabulous job with our dogs! She was very considerate of their needs, especially during a few thunderstorms that passed through. She sent lots of pictures and helpful updates. We felt very comfortable with how our dogs were cared for during our vacation. It helped us fully relax and enjoy our time away!

Lia was so great with Theo! She sent us video updates and thoroughly filled out his report card with lots of details and pictures. I could see from the videos she sent that our energetic guy felt calm and relaxed in her presence. She is very quick and responsive to messages. She gave us great peace of mind. Will absolutely book her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
