About: I would love for you all to know about my experience with pet sitting, so I would like to start with a quick story. When I was turning five, my grandpa took me to a pet shop the day before my birthday. After feeding the neighborhood cats and playing with the stray puppies, I just knew I’d come home with a dog of my own that day. I was elated — that is, until we left and I was the owner of a bird. As a five year old, I was disappointed! But I grew to love the bird as I realized I loved other animals. And by the time I turned 12, I finally did have pup of my own. I tell that story to say, I have years of personal experience caring for pets, whether they were my own or not. In my family home, we currently have an elderly dog and a teenaged cat - in my apartment, we have a one year old kitten. I love pets of all ages and sizes and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! You can trust that I’ll give them lots of love and cuddles in your absence! I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible - the main thing I’d have to take into account is commuting! Once I’m there, I’ll have tons of time to spend with your pet, or take them on as many walks as needed. My goal is to make sure you and your pet are happy and comfortable throughout this process! If your pet seems overwhelmed or nervous with me at first, I’ll know how to read this body language and I’ll give them the time and space they need to open up to me. If they want cuddles, they can have as many as they need! I’ll communicate openly with you to ensure your comfort level and trust, and I’ll make sure you and your pet are my top priority!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and abilities. I have six cats of my own and also care for a feral cat colony, which has taught me a lot about patience, trust, and meeting animals where they are. I currently work a desk job but can visit your pet in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I unwind by spending time with animals, so being with your pet will probably be my favorite part of my day. It will not just be another item on my to do list. At home I live on a 1/3 of acer with a fenced in yard. Inside I have a 6 cats with lots of cat trees and space for cats to go up and get a good view of the world. We also have separate rooms for cats (or small dogs) to have their own space if they get overwhelmed or want their own space
About: Just like cats, I’ve had several dogs, big or small. I’ve helped at my local shelter, feeding the dogs their medication, and spending long hours understanding them. I’m currently unemployed, I’ll have all day to tend to your pups/kitties! I’m currently studying virtually, so I can always prioritize them above all. About: My family is a never-less-than-one-dog family. Moving to my college dorms was a big change, and living there all four years shot my desperation for some puppy love through the roof. Now, I'm living here in Maryland, interning in DC, and so, *so* close to being able to adopt a fluffy friend of my own - but I'm just not financially ready. It's the responsible choice, but I would love the chance to help care for your dog to help me stick it out. In high school and beyond, I've done a fair amount of pet sitting to earn some extra cash. After one rough babysitting night that included watching "Chicken Little" four times in a row, I decided it wasn't for me and put all my eggs in the pet-sitting basket. I've cared for cats, fish, bunnies, a rat with lung cancer, puppies, and more dogs than I can count. I'll always have a particular soft-spot for older dogs. So many great things to say about Natalie!! She took my booking the same day even though she was not feeling well earlier in the morning she still showed up to care for my Mocha! I had some internet issues right before she was do to leave out and she helped out even more by trying to assist me in fixing the issues with my internet so the tvs would be left on for Mocha while Noone is there. She is truly very caring and communicates very well during her visits! I can't praise her enough! Thank you for everything Natalie!
