About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Hyattsville with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-6 y/o, Pomeranian-17 y/o, Husky-12 y/o, and Pittie-8 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I currently work as a substitute teacher and part-time for parks and rec. When I’m working, my partner is usually home. On my off from work days, I’m available to sit and/or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a fully fenced-in backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.

About: I grew up with a high-energy Siberian husky and a large mutt (~80 lbs) who were both dog reactive. I learned how to handle them from as soon as I was strong enough to not get pulled into the street! I loved taking them on runs, hikes, long walks, and pretty much anything outdoors. I currently have a two-year-old golden retriever mix at home who loves people, playing, dog parks, hikes, loafing on the couch, and lots of attention (all of which I am more than happy to provide for her). I was recently laid off and am returning to school to get EMT certified soon, so I have a lot of free time to care for your dog! I have housesat for friends with smaller dogs in the past as well and would welcome the opportunity to housesit any size dog :) I am located near town center market in Riverdale Park and have a car. I'm currently in evening classes so other than that I have most weekdays free for walks at whatever time is most convenient for you. For housesitting, I would need time to attend those classes and walk my own dog but would be able to not leave your dog unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. I will be very respectful of your home and would happily attend to any plants you have as well (I enjoy gardening quite a bit). I want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me in your house. I will also send updates at whatever frequency you prefer!

About: I’ve had two wonderful dogs since they were 10 weeks old. We’ve completed dog training classes together and I’ve learned all about pet care through them. Im currently working from home and never travel because I have a toddler son and 2 dogs, so im often available on weekends for pet care and during the week for walks I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company and a large house for plenty of play space. I’m also experienced with picky eating dogs.

About: I’m Tracey and I love fur babies! They are the most loyal and sweet pals who truly care about everyone they interact with. I miss having my constant companion, Jasper, since he passed and I’m not currently able to adopt a pup. Providing loving care to the wonderful animals of my community is the perfect way to get my ‘dog fix’ in! What you will love about me is that I’ve been a lifelong pet parent and have been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family members for years. I’m responsible and trustworthy, and aim to create a respectful and friendly relationship between you and your family! I treat others’ fur babies as if they were my own because I know how important they are to their families. Being communicative is also important when watching pups, so I keep you updated with photos and texts so you know what we’re up to while you’re away. I have cared for dogs of every size, breed, and personality and have specific experience with Miniature Schnauzers, as I owned one for over 12 years. I was also a foster mom with Schnauzer Rescue League of the Mid Atlantic. I would be happy to care for any pooch on Rover! I live Hyattsville in a beautiful and spacious home that is completely pet-friendly. All animal visitors are allowed on the furniture with your permission, and can enjoy cuddle sessions on the couch each night. We have a fenced-in backyard where your dog can enjoy safe potty breaks and play time or even sunbathing and nap time! My neighborhood is perfect for pups, too! It’s a mix of townhomes and family homes with lots of children. It’s a very walkable area close to shops and restaurants and a doggie park. I live with my 21 year old son, Timothy, who is a former Rover sitter and would be happy to dole out extra cuddles to your pal. When I'm not pet sitting, I'm tweaking areas around my house, working in my garden, exercising, or volunteering at Meals on Wheels. I love being a stress free as possible and having doggie visitors helps me stay happy and healthy! I can’t wait to meet you.

About: Through previous and most recent positions, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments through pet sitting and dog walking. About: I also work providing arts education to kiddos in the public schools. Folks trust me to handle kindergartners -- you can trust me with your pets! During the summer, I work only mornings, so can devote all my other time to your pet. I love to take dogs out for walks! I'm very dependable, mature, and conscientious, and I love me some furbaby energy. Right now, I have only a cat, so staying at your place or dropping by frequently is no problem.
