About: I had two dogs, golden retrievers, for 3 years. Unfortunately, they passed away. I just love pets and loved to be surrounded by them and care for them. I'm available to watch pets mon-sun weekly. I’m currently part time employed so I have more availability. Mainly afternoon-morning availability is preferred, i can do night as well if needed I have a large field and park near my apartment, which I can take them to whenever. I allow pets on furniture, just to assure safety of the pet and be able to keep watch.

In fact, I love doggies so much I would watch them for free however this site suggests you make money, so I’m ok with that too:-) I’m able to work from home so I’m available to play whenever your doggie wants can’t wait to babysit your furry friend and play with her/him I work vey hard to make sure your doggie is safe. We have a storm door so your doggie can’t run out, and I always make sure your doggie is on a leash outside your doggie’s happiness and safety are my top priority.

Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Hyattsville with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-6 y/o, Pomeranian-17 y/o, Husky-12 y/o, and Pittie-8 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I currently work as a substitute teacher and part-time for parks and rec. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a fully fenced-in backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. About: I grew up with a high-energy Siberian husky and a large mutt (~80 lbs) who were both dog reactive. I learned how to handle them from as soon as I was strong enough to not get pulled into the street! I loved taking them on runs, hikes, long walks, and pretty much anything outdoors. I currently have a two-year-old golden retriever mix at home who loves people, playing, dog parks, hikes, loafing on the couch, and lots of attention (all of which I am more than happy to provide for her). I have housesat for friends with smaller dogs in the past as well and would welcome the opportunity to housesit any size dog :) I am located near town center market in Riverdale Park and have a car. I'm currently in evening classes so other than that I have most weekdays free for walks at whatever time is most convenient for you. For housesitting, I would need time to attend those classes and walk my own dog but would be able to not leave your dog unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. I understand every pet has different needs, and I always make it a priority to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! As a college and future grad student here at UMD, I have a flexible schedule with availability for overnights, walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I always make sure to ask questions not only about your puppy but your house and regular routines. Health in animals is very important while you’re away so I always ask to have detailed notes or instructions.
