About: Through previous and most recent positions, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments through pet sitting and dog walking. My responsibilities included feeding, administering basic medications, maintaining exercise schedules, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring behavior, and providing companionship and enrichment. While I work full-time, I’m available for evening care after 6 PM depending on location, along with flexible availability on my days off for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I provide reliable in-home pet care by maintaining pets’ routines, ensuring they’re fed, exercised, comfortable, and given plenty of love and attention while their owners are away.

About: I’ve had two wonderful dogs since they were 10 weeks old. We’ve completed dog training classes together and I’ve learned all about pet care through them. Im currently working from home and never travel because I have a toddler son and 2 dogs, so im often available on weekends for pet care and during the week for walks I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company and a large house for plenty of play space. I’m also experienced with picky eating dogs.

About: I grew up with a high-energy Siberian husky and a large mutt (~80 lbs) who were both dog reactive. I learned how to handle them from as soon as I was strong enough to not get pulled into the street! I loved taking them on runs, hikes, long walks, and pretty much anything outdoors. I currently have a two-year-old golden retriever mix at home who loves people, playing, dog parks, hikes, loafing on the couch, and lots of attention (all of which I am more than happy to provide for her). I was recently laid off and am returning to school to get EMT certified soon, so I have a lot of free time to care for your dog! I have housesat for friends with smaller dogs in the past as well and would welcome the opportunity to housesit any size dog :) I am located near town center market in Riverdale Park and have a car. I'm currently in evening classes so other than that I have most weekdays free for walks at whatever time is most convenient for you. For housesitting, I would need time to attend those classes and walk my own dog but would be able to not leave your dog unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. I will be very respectful of your home and would happily attend to any plants you have as well (I enjoy gardening quite a bit). I want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me in your house. I will also send updates at whatever frequency you prefer!

About: I’m Tracey and I love fur babies! They are the most loyal and sweet pals who truly care about everyone they interact with. I miss having my constant companion, Jasper, since he passed and I’m not currently able to adopt a pup. We have a fenced-in backyard where your dog can enjoy safe potty breaks and play time or even sunbathing and nap time! My neighborhood is perfect for pups, too! It’s a mix of townhomes and family homes with lots of children. It’s a very walkable area close to shops and restaurants and a doggie park. I live with my 21 year old son, Timothy, who is a former Rover sitter and would be happy to dole out extra cuddles to your pal. When I'm not pet sitting, I'm tweaking areas around my house, working in my garden, exercising, or volunteering at Meals on Wheels. I love being a stress free as possible and having doggie visitors helps me stay happy and healthy! I can’t wait to meet you.

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats and dogs my whole life. My own dogs are e collar trained and I understand reactive dogs. Happy to accommodate all needs and medications. I am an artist that works from home, so last minute bookings and cancellations are usually fine with me, depending on distance from Cottage City. I keep all doors closed and take all precautions. About: When your dog comes to stay here, they are loved as a part of our pack. We work from home with a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of fenced-in-yard play and neighborhood walks. Our typical dog care schedule aims to strike the right balance of fun and rest to avoid over or under-stimulation. *Note: We are not the right fit for dogs who need to be the only dog in the sitter’s home. As a mental health therapist with an anxious dog of my own, I am particularly attentive to dog body language, signs of discomfort, and unique personality. I empathize that it truly sucks that you can’t just text your dog to ask how they’re doing when they’re in another person’s care. My aim is for the next time you arrive at my home, your pup’s booty will wiggle and communicate it all! In the meantime, I welcome your check ins and am happy to send you plenty of pictures and detailed updates. Because we have dogs of our own, I require proof of up to date vaccinations. Please send with booking request! Things that I want to know about your dog: - feeding schedule/amount - sleep routine (crate/loose) - exercise needs/frequency - any major known anxiety/reactivity triggers - scale of 1 (untrained) to 10 (will never have an accident unless something is wrong) how potty trained are we? (This is important to know as it impacts cost of supplies/repair and frequency of outside time) - what will your dog need when other humans enter my home when they’re here? - any allergies or treats they cannot have? - would your dog like to join us to go to the dog park? My own dogs are central to my daily routine and get plenty of enrichment, play in the yard, basic training, and rest each day. We have implemented the following schedule for drop off and pick ups to help protect our pups routine and what remains of our lives outside of doggies 🙃 Weekdays: before 6pm Weekends: before 9:30am and between 4-5:30pm If I am with a client during your drop off/pick up times, we may arrange for you to use our doggy drop off room where your dog can rest until my current call is done. If you need drop off/pick up between 6-8pm on weekdays or 9:30am-4pm on weekends, we will use the doggy drop off room and may charge a flexible pick up rate. We generally do not do pick ups/drop offs after 8pm. We ask that you book for the following morning. I am happy to discuss and answer any questions you may have! We have a fenced yard, an indoor camera, gates and rooms to separate dogs if needed, two crates, and more leashes and toys than one pack could ever need.

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs, mostly cats, but love both dearly. I have had pets in my house ever since I was a kid and enjoy their company greatly. Taking care of animals comes to me naturally and am excited to meet all types of pets. I am happy to help play and exercise your pets as needed and instructed :) I am currently a college student so I have many times where I am either in school or studying but I know for sure Tuesdays I am free. Other days I would need some sort of heads up to see if I can fit into my schedule. For instance Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays work for me if I have a couple of days notice ahead of time. I will be sure to follow thorough instructions when it comes to having to care for your pets in your house. I understand that having a space with pets can be a handful especially when gone so I will do everything in my power to make both parties comfortable!
