About: Through previous and most recent positions, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments through pet sitting and dog walking. My responsibilities included feeding, administering basic medications, maintaining exercise schedules, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring behavior, and providing companionship and enrichment. While I work full-time, I’m available for evening care after 6 PM depending on location, along with flexible availability on my days off for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I provide reliable in-home pet care by maintaining pets’ routines, ensuring they’re fed, exercised, comfortable, and given plenty of love and attention while their owners are away.

“Gina has been phenomenal with my energetic pup! I didn’t intentionally book with her at the start of the hottest summer on record in DC, but that’s how things worked out. I don’t think she has had a single pleasant weather day since she began walking Remy, yet she has been incredibly professional and mindful of my baby boy’s needs on scorching summer days. And Remy adores her! We are so thankful for you, Gina!”

“Tandy was super professional and kind. I lived a little out of the ways but she was happy to come by and take care of our dog. I scheduled her for a walk and she still came and walked her in the RAIN and got soaking wet. Even got my dog a towel and dried her off. Definitely will be booking her again. True heart of gold and very helpful.”

“Alex was great. Communication was excellent, provided pictures, and took very good care of our pups. Made being away less stressful. I do recommend him, and will use his services again.”

“Natalie was so quick to respond and communicated every detail of her arrival and care of our Zella. This was Natalie’s first time meeting Zella, and their first walk together went great even though Z can be a bit shy and hesitant to new people in her older age! We will definitely book Natalie’s services again!”

About: *** Not taking on new clients at this time (as of November 2025)***** I have over 20 years of combined experience caring for both cats and dogs of many different ages, with some specific skills around training reinforcement for dogs. Growing up, I cared for my own cat as well as cats and dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have cared for both cats and dogs and done extended house-sits for clients and friends with cats. I am an MSW graduate student and working part-time, and have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability throughout the day for drop-in visits and walks, and morning/ weekend/ nighttime availability as well. My home has a fenced-in yard and is very safe and comfortable for dogs. I am conscientious and clean when spending time in the homes of clients. I will take great care of your home in addition to your animal companion!
“Nicole is amazing! She treated Diesel like he was apart of her family. He went on atleast 30 minute walks which is needed for my dog. If you have dogs that are interested in other animals, Nicole knows how to regain attention from your dog and complete the walk. I will definitely be using Nicole again.”

“Joseph is amazing. If I had not moved away, he would still be walking my baby boy Dax. Joseph has always come through at a moment notice when I have had to work late. He is a gem! 💕”

About: From a young age I always loved animals. It started with a turtle which quickly became cats and dogs as I got older. I don’t believe in abusing anything, so I wouldn’t ever allow any animal to be abused in any way, shape or form. They are precious. I do have a backyard and there’s a dog park close that allows me to walk on a daily basis . I follow any and all routines needed.

About: I've been a pet owner for over ten years for both dogs and cats. I used to work at a Montessori school for dogs and as a behavioral specialist at an animal shelter, so I have taken courses from both the Victoria Stilwell Academy and the Karen Pryor Academy and have some experience with animal training. I am familiar with many temperaments and how to properly approach a new friend. While I am still working towards certification, I’d be happy to positively reinforce good habits as well as teach your animal a fun trick or two (this extends to cats as well)! I am currently an online student, so my schedule is fairly flexible for any and all schedules, although I would prefer working in the morning and during the day before the sun goes down. At your home, I'm comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I can keep up with dogs who want to play all day, or I can chill and provide cuddles to the softer, gentler pups. Some pets are content watching from a distance, and I can do that as well. At my dog school job, we had a detailed system of categorizing different "play styles", and at my shelter job, I often taught interested adopters how to properly introduce themselves to a possible new family member. I hope to incorporate that into my work with your beloved pet so we can better understand one another.
“Feriha is great with our young puppy! She was very attentive to our energetic pup’s needs. She arrived on time and followed our instructions. After each walk, she provides plenty of detail and adorable pictures. Highly recommend!”

“Skyler took my adolescent male Pit bill pup out for walks for about a month & a half, twice a week; I stopped because I decided to take my pup to doggy daycare instead during the fall & winter. Skyler was respectful and mature ever since our meet & greet and during our communications, and were receptive to feedback. I appreciated that they had experience raising pit bulls since mine is an adolescent pit and we were working through some training/behavioral issues during Skyler’s time with us. Sky didn’t always complete the Rover card timely likely since they were new to using the app; and on a couple of occasions were late for pick up due to bus or work and didn’t text to notify me, which would have been appreciated since I had to buzz them into my apt complex during my lunch break. All in all a good experience and I’d recommend Sky as a Rover and plan to reach out if I need pup assistance in the future. Thanks, Sky!”

Cheverly dog parents share their Rover experiences
Clarice did a wonderful job with Roscoe. He connected with her easily on the meet and greet, where she asked and learned about his quirks and personality. She accepted a somewhat last-minute request, and she treated him well! Highly recommend her and hope to use her services again in the future!

Denisse did a great job learning how to use Hoover’s harness and by the second day they were off and walking on their own. I really appreciate her flexibility and willingness to work with his mobility issues. It helps a lot! She’s a great communicator, very kind and clearly cares about doing a good job.
