About: I’m a dog dad of 3, I’ve grown up around all animals. I love my children and I want to be able to help people take care of theirs if they need it. Sometimes I like to bring my wife along to help, if you’re not okay with this please let me know and I’ll make sure it’s only me. I’m currently going to online school which leaves me with a lot of extra time for extra work such as Rover. Outside of taking care of my own babies. About: I’ve done rover before and I’ve made long friends with watching their pets I’ve seen them grow and be the best fur balls they are I only work on the weekends 9pm-7am so I’m home during the week. Your fur babies will have my full attention all week I will be home with them the whole time It depends on how the owner would like me to do things but I would walk them , play with them and depending on weather go to a park

About: When your dog comes to stay here, they are loved as a part of a small pack. We work from home with a flexible schedule that allows for plenty enrichment and neighborhood walks. Our typical dog care schedule aims to strike the right balance of fun and rest to avoid over or under-stimulation. *Note: We are not the right fit for dogs who are not regularly socialized with other dogs, need to be the only dog in the sitter’s home, need to be in a group of less than two pups, or just generally would not find our pack playing, walking, and basic training lifestyle very fun! For new clients I will send you an intake form with several questions that help us determine if our care is the right fit for your pup. As a mental health therapist with an anxious dog of my own, I am particularly attentive to dog body language, signs of discomfort, and unique personality. I empathize that it truly sucks that you can’t just text your dog to ask how they’re doing when they’re in another person’s care. My aim is for the next time you arrive at my home, your pup’s booty will wiggle and communicate it all! In the meantime, I welcome your check ins and am happy to send you plenty of pictures and detailed updates. Because we have dogs of our own, I require proof of up to date vaccinations. My own dogs are central to our daily routine and get plenty of enrichment, runs/walks/hikes, play in the yard, basic training, and post-activity rest each day. We are very active and do as much as possible as a small group together. We offer more of a pack play and activity group than typical dog sitting. Pickup/Drop Off Schedule: We have implemented the following schedule for drop off and pick ups to help protect our pups routine and what remains of our lives outside of doggies 🙃 In general we ask that all pick ups and drop offs occur before 6pm on weekdays. E.g. if your trip ends at 7pm on Sunday we ask that you schedule your pick up for anytime Monday before 6pm. If you need more flexibility: The following are rates for flexible pickup/drop off outside of those windows: Weekdays: Between 6pm - 8pm $15 surcharge. Weekends: before 9:30am $30 surcharge. Doggy Drop Off Room: If we are in meetings during your drop off/pick up times, or out with the other pups, we may arrange for you to use our doggy drop off room where your dog can rest until we are back (within 0-2 hrs). For all pick up/drop offs outside of M-F before 6pm we will arrange for you to use the doggy drop off room. We generally do not do pick ups/drop offs after 8pm. I am happy to discuss and answer any questions you may have about your specific needs! We have a fenced yard, an indoor camera, gates and human grade rooms for doggy comfort, two crates, and more leashes and toys than one pack could ever need.
“Skyler took my adolescent male Pit bill pup out for walks for about a month & a half, twice a week; I stopped because I decided to take my pup to doggy daycare instead during the fall & winter. Skyler was respectful and mature ever since our meet & greet and during our communications, and were receptive to feedback. I appreciated that they had experience raising pit bulls since mine is an adolescent pit and we were working through some training/behavioral issues during Skyler’s time with us. Sky didn’t always complete the Rover card timely likely since they were new to using the app; and on a couple of occasions were late for pick up due to bus or work and didn’t text to notify me, which would have been appreciated since I had to buzz them into my apt complex during my lunch break. About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
