About: I have six years of deep, hands-on experience raising and loving my own sweet fur baby. Being a dedicated pet parent taught me every aspect of dog care from maintaining strict, feeding and medication schedules to reading, subtle body language handling daily walks and providing comfort during storms or anxiety. I lost my baby girl in March 😢 and that showed me how irreplaceable our pets. Are I now know firsthand that your pet isn’t just your animal. They are your family. I treat every dog in my care with the same exact patience, tenderness, and safety first mindset that I gave my own. Pet care fits into my schedule because I managed my own flexible schedule from home. Pet care just fits in naturally. It’s my passion. I have a large two bedroom apartment and I have plenty of living space and I also have a dog park provided by my community.

About: I have been an animal lover as long as I’ve been alive. For 15 years I have been responsible for caring for a variety of animals but mainly Dogs and Cats. I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of medical issues. I understand the importance of consistency when it comes to caring for a pet in general but especially when they have health concerns. Comfortable around all breeds and sizes. Knowledgeable in leash training, potty training, and crate training. Just like people all animals have their own unique personality. Excited to care for your best friend like they were my own! I do occasionally work on the weekends so there could be 7-8 hour periods between me being with your pet. Would let you know my work schedule if that overlap with care. If no fenced in yard at residence will keep dog on a leash at all times outside the home. I am respectful of peoples homes since that is your safe space. My yard is fenced at my residence so if you wanted your pet to stay with me they would need to be comfortable around 2 fosters cats and children.

About: I've been a pet owner for over ten years for both dogs and cats. I used to work at a Montessori school for dogs, as a behavioral specialist at an animal shelter, and as a Attendant at a doggy daycare, so I have taken courses from both the Victoria Stilwell Academy and the Karen Pryor Academy and have some experience with animal training. I am familiar with many temperaments and how to properly approach a new friend. While I am still working towards certification, I’d be happy to positively reinforce good habits as well as teach your animal a fun trick or two (this extends to cats as well)! I work full-time and my schedule is decided on a weekly basis, so my availability isn’t something set in stone. I am transitioning to a new job though, so I will soon be generally available on weekends and evenings. At your home, I'm comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I can keep up with dogs who want to play all day, or I can chill and provide cuddles to the softer, gentler pups. Some pets are content watching from a distance, and I can do that as well. At my dog school job, we had a detailed system of categorizing different "play styles", and at my shelter job, I often taught interested adopters how to properly introduce themselves to a possible new family member. I hope to incorporate that into my work with your beloved pet so we can better understand one another.
