About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. About: I've taken care of dogs and watched after dogs almost all of my life. From my god mother's Rottweiler, Sisters Black Lab, my best friends Boston terriers a labradodle. Your pup will be in great hands with me. I work from home so I have no issue with being in the house with your dog. My community is very pet friendly with not 1 but 2 dog parks that allows for exercise and fresh air. I work full time from home, and have a very flexible schedule. Usually while watching pets for friends I'll go for a morning walk for bathroom needs, around lunch we'll take another quick walk and game of fetch and one more walk in the evening before the sun goes down. I care for pets depending on what you as the owner recommend. For my dog nephew, we only feed him at 4pm (put food in the bowl) so that in the mornings and nights when we take him out to do his business he's good to go. I like to have a toy or bone around for them to chew on while I work, but once we go out side I make sure we're getting some fresh air for at least 30minutes to an hour.

Buddy passed away two years ago and it has been difficult moving on without him.I am looking for opportunities to dogsit for companionship and an excuse to be more active. I work fully remote and will be able to be with your baby throughout the day. Please consider me you new sitter! Pet care fits into my daily routine, since I work from home, I’m able to take care of the dog during the day and night. I typically wake up pretty early and keep a regimented schedule throughout the day. I make sure the dog is walked. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. Some dogs don’t like all of that so you really have to pay attention to what type of dog you’re getting. Luckily I love all dogs so it’s all fun for me.

About: Hi! I currently have two mixed labs named Graham and chocolate who are sisters. I also have a sweet young cat named toasted marshmallow. We call them the s’more gang at home! In the past I have had two adorable dogs, a 14 year old female Husky mix and a 11 year old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I've trained all of my dogs to travel with me via plane, boat, metro transportation, and do some services for me. The last two dogs mentioned (Angel and Enzo) have passed away due to old age, but they were with me from puppyhood until their last breath. I also have a lot of experiences of taking care of other animals such as rabbits, rats, bearded dragons, snakes, frogs, and whatnot. I love all animals, but dogs and cats are my absolute favorite. I have experience taking care of sick animals and love animals that are especially wary of strangers or need time to warm up to. I’m currently a full time student with classes just on select days of the week, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. About: I have been an animal lover as long as I’ve been alive. For 15 years I have been responsible for caring for a variety of animals but mainly Dogs and Cats. I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of medical issues. I understand the importance of consistency when it comes to caring for a pet in general but especially when they have health concerns. Comfortable around all breeds and sizes. Knowledgeable in leash training, potty training, and crate training. Just like people all animals have their own unique personality. Excited to care for your best friend like they were my own! If no fenced in yard at residence will keep dog on a leash at all times outside the home. I am respectful of peoples homes since that is your safe space. I used to work at a Montessori school for dogs, as a behavioral specialist at an animal shelter, and as a Attendant at a doggy daycare, so I have taken courses from both the Victoria Stilwell Academy and the Karen Pryor Academy and have some experience with animal training. Their home and beautiful backyard are the perfect spot for pups. I was extremely impressed with how attentive they were to each dog's needs, including Sadie's sensitivity to heat given her thick coat. I could tell that they treated Sadie with the same love and care that I show her at home. It was also very comforting knowing that they spend the majority of their time at home with the dogs so the dogs get a lot of supervision. Also superb communication with several picture updates each day. Definitely recommend them and will be using them again!!! Thank you!!”
