“Kennedi came through for my baby at last minute. She has great communication skills, super nice and I know how adventurous and playful Lotus can be so I know she's patient! She's very attentive and I appreciate her for coming through. I will book again”

“Natalie was so quick to respond and communicated every detail of her arrival and care of our Zella. This was Natalie’s first time meeting Zella, and their first walk together went great even though Z can be a bit shy and hesitant to new people in her older age! We will definitely book Natalie’s services again!”

“Chase is an AMAZING dog walker. Phebe is always happy and Chase takes the *best* pictures to share! I always know my little pup is safe. Thank you, Chase! So grateful you’ll be able to keep walking Pheebs!”
About: I’ve had pets since I was young, mostly dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve taken care of my own dogs—feeding them, walking them, and making sure they were happy, healthy, and well loved. Friends and colleagues have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I’ve had experience pet sitting different dogs and cats, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their owner’s absence. Before moving to the United States, I also started rescuing community cats in my area and helped find loving homes for them. That experience deepened my compassion for animals and strengthened my commitment to giving every pet the care, patience, and attention they deserve. I’m a stay-at-home wife, so I have plenty of time during the day to walk, play, and give lots of attention and care to your furbabies. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I love building bonds with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I’m also very respectful of my clients’ homes and always follow the care instructions and guidelines they provide.
“Michael was great with Lucky! Felt great leaving my dog in his care. Michael took Lucky on longs walks, fed him, gave him treats, and was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

About: Since growing up at a young age, I’ve always had a pet by my side and now that I love daily unconditionally. If there is one thing I can teach them is to get along with others animals as well as people. My patience and understanding will keep them thriving and healthy. I only want to give them more than they need. I am available 5 days of the week to care for your pet, including the weekend if needed! After all, someone has to be there for them. No pet under my supervision has ever been in harms way. I have a big cage with food and water. Pet toys, cleaning supplies, and pet proof items to keep them safe.

About: I have been an animal lover as long as I’ve been alive. For 15 years I have been responsible for caring for a variety of animals but mainly Dogs and Cats. I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of medical issues. I understand the importance of consistency when it comes to caring for a pet in general but especially when they have health concerns. Comfortable around all breeds and sizes. Knowledgeable in leash training, potty training, and crate training. Just like people all animals have their own unique personality. Excited to care for your best friend like they were my own! I do occasionally work on the weekends so there could be 7-8 hour periods between me being with your pet. Would let you know my work schedule if that overlap with care. If no fenced in yard at residence will keep dog on a leash at all times outside the home. I am respectful of peoples homes since that is your safe space. My yard is fenced at my residence so if you wanted your pet to stay with me they would need to be comfortable around 2 fosters cats and children.
About: I have always had a dog in my family, as well as my own dog. I am always fostering dogs from the shelter as well! My husband and I both work Monday-Friday, however I have a very flexible schedule and am able to telework when needed! I try to stay home with the boarders as much as possible! Our back yard is very spacious and all of it is fenced in and secure. I will keep your dog on the same schedule as they were on before.
“I am so lucky to have found Jelisa! Deli LOVED her at our meet and greet. The communication has been awesome and she has been very attentive and caring with feeding, walking and hanging out with my puppy. Truly 5 stars and we will definitely continue using Jelisa’s wonderful services!”

“Tia is awesome with Ziggy. In just 1 week, Ziggy has gotten used to her coming through the door. And sits and waits for her. This has been a lifesaver for us. We will continue to have Tia around as long as she will have us.”

About: I just started doing rover because I love animals and I also work from home so I have plenty of time to spoil your baby! I have a boxer of my own that gets along with other animals and is very energetic so we go outside around our complex all the time. I respond very fast and send pictures throughout the day! Even though I live in an apartment, there’s over a thousand sq ft for them to run around in when they’re inside. I will walk your dog for as long as you need me to and do drop in visits as well. Since I do have a pup of my own you can be assured I will give yours all the love, snuggles, and care they need! Plus I work with each individual dog according to their own needs! Just shoot me a message and we can discuss further. Im currently doing hybrid for work so I’m home most days during the week so your fur baby will get plenty of attention & outside time! I never let dogs off the leash when they’re with me & I always maintain control on walks. Always do separate feedings & I pay attention to your pet’s body language to make sure they’re always comfortable in my care. I work from home full time so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your loved fur baby & work around your schedule as well! We can do a meet & greet before hand so your pet feels more comfortable with me. Whenever I do drop ins I always make sure that your fur baby is comfortable with my presence & I watch the door as I leave so they can’t escape.

Bria continues to be amazing! She’s always reliable, takes great care of Luna, and goes above and beyond. During this visit, Luna wasn’t feeling well and had a couple of accidents. Bria took the time to clean everything up and make sure everything was taken care of, even though she didn’t have to. I really appreciate the extra care and attention she gives every time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate dog walker!

Clarice did a wonderful job with Roscoe. He connected with her easily on the meet and greet, where she asked and learned about his quirks and personality. She accepted a somewhat last-minute request, and she treated him well! Highly recommend her and hope to use her services again in the future!

Alysha has been walking my dog for a few weeks now and she does a wonderful job! She's very attentive to my baby's needs and always communicates clearly & quickly. She has been super dependable. It's such a relief to have someone I can rely on to take care of my girl while I'm at work!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
