“Alysia is seriously the best dog walker I’ve ever used on Rover! She is so accommodating with scheduling and cares for my dog as if he is her own! She was attentive and punctual; my dog was always so happy to see a friendly face! 10/10 recommend Alysia and her pet services 😊”

I am flexible and I am just willing to give your dog a great time when you are away!! I work part time as a summer job so I have a lot of free time during the week so I am not busy at all and I am very flexible!! I will keep your pet company while you are away showing them love and affection and taking care of their daily needs like bathroom breaks, food, water, exercise, and many more!
“I couldn't ask for a better person to walk my pup Ollie. This was our first time trying out Rover so we didn't know what to expect and Erick gave us comfort the first day we've met him. 10/10, very patient and communicates quick when we have a question about anything relating to Ollie.”

“Gina has been phenomenal with my energetic pup! I didn’t intentionally book with her at the start of the hottest summer on record in DC, but that’s how things worked out. I don’t think she has had a single pleasant weather day since she began walking Remy, yet she has been incredibly professional and mindful of my baby boy’s needs on scorching summer days. And Remy adores her! We are so thankful for you, Gina!”

About: I’m 100% work-from-home, so your dog is never left alone or unattended. I have a flexible, non-taxing job that allows me to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day—from walks and playtime to cuddles and potty breaks. I’ve raised my own dog from 3 months old to now 2 years old, so I’m experienced with puppy care, routines, socialization, and positive reinforcement. I’m also patient and attentive, which makes me great with senior dogs or dogs that need a calm, loving environment. I truly love dogs and treat every one like my own. I pay close attention to their energy levels, comfort, and routines, and I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I already structure my day around my own dog’s routine, including morning walks, daytime play and enrichment, and evening wind-down time. Adding another dog is seamless, and I make sure each pet gets individual attention based on their needs, energy level, and schedule. Because I’m home all day, I can easily accommodate puppies, senior dogs, and pets that need extra supervision or frequent breaks. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I live in a townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, which is perfect for safe outdoor play and frequent potty breaks and multiple walking trails throughout the neighborhood. Regardless of the location pets are always supervised and never left alone for long periods. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. I also provide plenty of affection, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space and stick to their established routines. I provide reliable walks, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions needed. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for, whether they’re in my home or theirs.
“Ashley was great with Dakota, they got along well and was very attentive with her during their walk times. She was professional, timely, & communication was very good. Will work with her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 6 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the years I’ve cared for multiple family dogs, including my own dog since 2019, my mom’s two dogs, and my husband’s dog. I also cared for my two cats and helped raise their three kittens from birth until they were rehomed. I’ve been an animal lover since my first dog at the age of 2. I’ve always been loving and playful with them and when they misbehaved i’d only cage them temporarily so they know what they did was wrong without popping the dog. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, maintaining routines, and providing companionship for pets ranging from young animals to seniors. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Pet care is currently my primary focus, which allows me to provide flexible and reliable care for your pets. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I do my best to follow their normal routines to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. Before care begins, I take time to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, preferences, and any special instructions. During visits and walks, I remain attentive to their needs and surroundings, ensuring they receive proper care, exercise, fresh water, and plenty of affection. I respect both your pet and your home as if they were my own and believe in maintaining open communication through updates and photos. My goal is to create a positive, safe, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

I have managed two pet boarding/daycare facilities, as well as have 9 years of vet tech experience (preventative care and emergency). Because of my skill set, I am able to administer medications (oral and inject-able) and tend to special needs, as well as the basic duties required for pet sitting, should your furry family member need it. Due to my passion for pets, I'm able to provide loving care, when you can't be there. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. Please feel free to contact me if you think I would make a good fit for you and your furkid(s)! (PS - I am feline friendly as well)
“Bria has provided such amazing service. She has done things like wipe our pet’s feet after a walk and bring in packages (which, I’m today’s porch pirate environment is a real help when I’m out of town). She is my go to for Magnus.”

About: I have been an animal lover as long as I’ve been alive. For 15 years I have been responsible for caring for a variety of animals but mainly Dogs and Cats. I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of medical issues. I understand the importance of consistency when it comes to caring for a pet in general but especially when they have health concerns. Comfortable around all breeds and sizes. Knowledgeable in leash training, potty training, and crate training. Just like people all animals have their own unique personality. Excited to care for your best friend like they were my own! I do occasionally work on the weekends so there could be 7-8 hour periods between me being with your pet. Would let you know my work schedule if that overlap with care. If no fenced in yard at residence will keep dog on a leash at all times outside the home. I am respectful of peoples homes since that is your safe space. My yard is fenced at my residence so if you wanted your pet to stay with me they would need to be comfortable around 2 fosters cats and children.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
