“Kennedi came through for my baby at last minute. She has great communication skills, super nice and I know how adventurous and playful Lotus can be so I know she's patient! She's very attentive and I appreciate her for coming through. I will book again”

“Corissa is amazing! She made sure Bentley was happy and was super personable. She went out of her way to have a meeting with me before we booked it and made Bentleys safety a top priority.”

“Aliyah did a nice job with walking my dog! I liked that she took and sent pictures of my dog while they went along their walk. She treated my dog nicely, followed my instructions, and returned him the same way that she received him. I’m appreciative!”

I love going on long walks with dogs who need it, playing fetch, and giving lots of scritches and love! No dog is too small or too big for me. Happy to accommodate anything your pet needs! I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I work in VA and living MD so I’m really all over the map. I would prefer any time after 3 but can also come in the mornings with enough heads up. I do not have a fenced in back yard but do have a nice trail to walk on and get some energy out. I also have a lead in the backyard to keep the dogs safe and not escape if they would like to roam freely. My coonhound has been just fine with the set up! I also have a crate if preferred. My dog is friendly with others and loves other dogs!

“I couldn't ask for a better person to walk my pup Ollie. This was our first time trying out Rover so we didn't know what to expect and Erick gave us comfort the first day we've met him. 10/10, very patient and communicates quick when we have a question about anything relating to Ollie.”

Cayla was the best! She was timely, professional, and so kind and loving to my Bodie. Bodie can have a lot of energy and be a puller on walks, but she was patient with him and made sure to take long walks to get all of his energy out. I will definitely continue to book with her in the future. Thanks Cayla!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
