I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old! Through her, I learned what it means to make sacrifices for others while also loving the process! She was very easy to train on my own, but sometimes her intelligence causes her to be mischievous! During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz at 8 months old. Unfortunately, he was a stray and came with severe resource guarding leading to numerous fights with Beth. Because of this, I put him in multiple rounds of training and learned for myself what it means to support dogs through and watch for triggers dealing with aggression. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! If I could, I’d have many more dogs!
