About: I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old! Through her, I learned what it means to make sacrifices for others while also loving the process! She was very easy to train on my own, but sometimes her intelligence causes her to be mischievous! During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz at 8 months old. Unfortunately, he was a stray and came with severe resource guarding leading to numerous fights with Beth. Because of this, I put him in multiple rounds of training and learned for myself what it means to support dogs through and watch for triggers dealing with aggression. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! If I could, I’d have many more dogs! I am a teacher in SE DC, so during the school year, my availability is primarily evenings and weekends. During the summer, my availability is very open! I am very attentive and respectful of others homes, dogs, and instructions. Knowing that my own dogs take a minute to warm up to someone knew, I will be sure to follow specific routines or guidance given! Your home will remain as it was when I enter!

About: My partner and I work together to provide reliable and attentive house sitting and pet care throughout the DMV area. I have pet sit for people many times over the past couple of years, cats and dogs. Whether it involved me going to their house, walking them, or having them come to my house for a couple of hours. I have a car so I am able to drive to wherever I’m needed and am available most days! Like I said you can trust me with your fur baby. If you would like me to provide pet care more than once throughout the day or week I just ask that you provide enough detail and clear communication I want to provide the best care for the pets. I ask the owner(s) about anything I should specifically do or not do, how often should I walk them, when their feeding times are, etc. I just make sure I have all the necessary info so the pet can be taken care of properly and safely and then it’s time for belly rubs!
