I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday from 4 PM–12 AM, so on those days I’m available for morning and noon visits, walks, drop-ins, feedings, potty breaks, and quality playtime before heading to work. Friday through Sunday, I have open availability and can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime care as needed. I always try to be flexible and communicate clearly with pet parents so I can provide the best care possible for each dog’s routine and individual needs. In the more professional realm I have experience as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, Dog Daycare Attendant. I’ve volunteered at a multitude of previous shelters. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I had a golden growing up for 15 years and now have a dog of my own! I love going on long walks with dogs who need it, playing fetch, and giving lots of scritches and love! No dog is too small or too big for me. Happy to accommodate anything your pet needs! I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I work in VA and living MD so I’m really all over the map. I would prefer any time after 3 but can also come in the mornings with enough heads up. I do not have a fenced in back yard but do have a nice trail to walk on and get some energy out. I also have a lead in the backyard to keep the dogs safe and not escape if they would like to roam freely. My coonhound has been just fine with the set up! I also have a crate if preferred. My dog is friendly with others and loves other dogs!

My family and friends feel comfortable enough to allow me to walk their dogs and care for them I’m currently do child care Monday - Wednesday but I’m free Thursday-Sunday from 11am -6pm to take care and walk your dog In a timely fashion. Once I joined the work force, I was really focused on my career and still loved caring for animals, but didn't really have the time to do so. I am currently a full-time worker so Monday-Friday I would not be able to be at a house all day. However, all weekends and holidays I am available all day. Before accepting a new booking, we like to do a meet and greet. This helps make sure your pet feels comfortable with us and also gets along well with our two dogs. It’s important to us that everyone feels safe, calm, and at ease from the beginning. We know how it feels to leave your dog with someone else, because we would only trust people who care for them the same way we do. That’s exactly how we care for every pet that stays with us, like they are our own. We have two dogs at home, Oddie, our 5-year-old Cavapoo, and Toffy, our 15-year-old Bichon Frise and Maltese mix. They’ve taught us patience, attention, and how every dog has their own personality and needs. Your pet will be in a calm, loving home where they are allowed on the couch, can relax, play, and just feel comfortable. We go on walks, spend time with them, and make sure they are never just being watched, they are being truly cared for. I work mornings, and Martha works from home full time, so there is always someone present. Your pet will not be left alone or ignore. We believe in letting dogs be themselves. That’s why we ask about their routines, habits, and preferences, so we can keep things as familiar as possible and reduce that initial stress. Our goal is to make the transition gentle and help them feel safe, understood, and at home. We’ll also send updates and photos, because we know how important that is when you’re away. At the end of the day, we treat your pet the way we would want someone to treat ours, with love, patience, and real attention. I work in the morning at the moment, but Martha works from home full time so she will be available at all times if I am not around. We make sure to understand your pet's routines and habits, as well as any special needs they may have, such as medication or dietary restrictions, and provide plenty of toys and beds for the pets to use.
