She was great, friendly, responsive, and made sure my cats were stress free and loved while I was gone. Even though I cut my trip short, I would book with her again.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my English Bulldog, who I’ve helped raise since 2020, so I understand the daily care and attention dogs need. I’m also very familiar with cats, thanks to helping with my cousin’s cat, so I feel confident caring for both cats and dogs. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available after 1 p.m. on Monday - Friday. I’m usually free on Sundays as well. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I give my own. You can trust me to be responsible, reliable, and to keep your pets safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I had a black lab growing up and now I have a 7lb chihuahua named Chloe who is super chill, harmless who keeps to herself. She acts more like a cat. I've dog sat for friends in the past as well as been a dog walker for neighbors. I work from home and have been for years so I'm pretty flexible. I may only leave to run errands but I am usually not gone for long periods of time. I walk my dog 3X a day, we take actual walks. She is getting old and doesn't like to be out much, but I really do enjoy the outdoors. My dog roams free when I'm home. I usually crate her and will crate your dog as well if I step out. I live in a large community with plenty of walking space. I have two kids, 10 and 14 who love dogs as well, but I'm responsible for walking and taking care of the dogs. My son is the one who really likes to play with other dogs because Chloe is not a playful, fetching type of dog. I've used Rover myself a couple of times when I was out of town.

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, I provide more than just walks — I provide safe, loving, and attentive care tailored to every pup’s unique personality and needs. My background includes fostering dogs, working in a professional dog boarding facility, volunteering in animal shelters, and gaining experience in an animal hospital setting, which has given me the skills to confidently care for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. As a dedicated fur mom myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like family and focus on creating a comfortable, stress-free, and fun experience while you’re away. Whether your pup needs extra patience, structured care, medication support, playtime, or simply lots of love and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and cared for every step of the way. I pride myself on reliability, communication, and building genuine bonds with both pets and owners. Your dog’s well-being will always be my top priority. My schedule is structured to make sure every dog in my care gets the time, attention, exercise, and consistency they deserve. I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday from 4 PM–12 AM, so on those days I’m available for morning and noon visits, walks, drop-ins, feedings, potty breaks, and quality playtime before heading to work. Friday through Sunday, I have open availability and can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime care as needed. I always try to be flexible and communicate clearly with pet parents so I can provide the best care possible for each dog’s routine and individual needs. With my years of hands-on experience working with dogs in boarding facilities, shelters, fostering, and animal hospitals, I understand how important reliability, patience, and personalized care are for both pets and owners. When caring for pets in their homes, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, so I tailor my care to each pet’s specific needs, routine, and personality. Whether it’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication, cuddles, or giving extra patience to anxious pets, I make sure your fur baby receives the same love and attention they’re used to at home. During walks and pet sitting visits, I focus on safety, communication, and making sure your pet is happy, exercised, and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I bring a lifelong, genuine love for animals paired with hands on experience. From dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, I’ve cared for them all with patience, attentiveness, and love. Growing up with animals shaped my natural instinct to understand their needs, personalities, and little quirks, and over the years I’ve continued that care by looking after pets for friends and family throughout my teens. Whether it’s keeping a routine, giving extra cuddles, or making sure even the smallest details are just right, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comforting environment so both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I’m currently in college and taking online courses so I’m able to be home most of the day if necessary. I’ll be able to take them out and give them plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I will follow any all instructions by the owner and follow their usual schedule to make sure the pet is comfortable at all times. I’ll make sure to keep the owner’s updated and send them pictures so they know they’re pet is well taken care of!

About: My partner and I work together to provide reliable and attentive house sitting and pet care throughout the DMV area. I currently work part-time as a concierge, which has strengthened my professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for building security and residents’ privacy. My partner is studying online to become an electrician, which gives him a flexible schedule and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving. We also have a cat of our own, so we understand the importance of routine, litter care, enrichment, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior. Caring for animals in their home requires patience and attentiveness, and we take that seriously. Together, we have experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, and temperaments. Working as a team allows us to provide consistent supervision, maintain routines, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We are comfortable with: • Small to large dogs • Senior pets • Multiple-pet households • Following detailed feeding and care schedules We prioritize clear communication, cleanliness, and maintaining a calm, secure environment at all times. Our goal is to provide dependable care so you can travel with peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. I work some night concierge shifts, which gives me flexibility during the day to maintain feeding schedules, walks, and check-ins. Spending time outdoors with pets is a great balance after overnight work, and I enjoy being active with them. My partner studies in the evenings, so we are both structured and routine-oriented. Having pets in our care fits well with our schedule, as we prioritize consistency, fresh air, and daily activity. Because of our schedule flexibility, we are able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care while ensuring pets receive attentive and reliable supervision. Proactive, problem-solver and oh so gracious and accommodating. I recently moved on very short notice, house is a disorganized collection of boxes and wrapped furniture. Had another sitter who cancelled on me, but Aja stepped up to the challenge. Even brought her own supplies when we couldn't find ours in the house. Professional, friendly and the dogs seemed pretty impressed also. She's now my go to.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Clinton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Clinton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
