About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I had a golden growing up for 15 years and now have a dog of my own! I love going on long walks with dogs who need it, playing fetch, and giving lots of scritches and love! No dog is too small or too big for me. Happy to accommodate anything your pet needs! I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I work in VA and living MD so I’m really all over the map. I would prefer any time after 3 but can also come in the mornings with enough heads up. I do not have a fenced in back yard but do have a nice trail to walk on and get some energy out. I also have a lead in the backyard to keep the dogs safe and not escape if they would like to roam freely. My coonhound has been just fine with the set up! I also have a crate if preferred. My dog is friendly with others and loves other dogs!
“Romon was the best sitter for our 3 boys. We needed a sitter at the last minute and he was so accommodating stopping by our house to make sure they were ok. We will def rebook with Romon in the future!”
About: Since birth I've always had pets. From dogs,Cats and reptiles but dogs will forever have my heart. I’m a huge sucker for big dogs I’ve had cane corso and husky my whole life. I work from home so I am the definition of flexible. I can regularly fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine as I do with my own pet. I provide a happy , safe, and healthy stay for my/your dog whether that means taking them on a walk, making/feeding them healthy treats !

“Jada And Nazir are two amazing people. They were very personable and communicated effectively. I booked them for drop in services and they were on time and thorough.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands on experience raising two pit bulls from puppyhood into adulthood. I'm comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and I always make safety and positive interactions a priority. I'll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you're away. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets. My schedule is pretty open and can work during the week or weekends. When caring for pets in a client's home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks or a clean litter box, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention.

About: Being one who never lived without a pet, I can't imagine life without one! Growing up with big dogs, to turtles, to cats... it's a type of love and care your little one also deserves. I'm currently a full-time RN! My schedule is not linear, changes weekly. With that, schedules are done about a month in advance. Crazy? Ik lol I adjust to the needs of the animals and the rules of the owner! I What you desire, is what matters. As long as it's done properly, professionally, and with love!
“Uduak was wonderful! She was communicative with my husband and I, and very patient with my pup who is not comfortable with new people. Uduak followed instructions to a tee, and also used her discernment in caring for Mozzy (even cleaning up an accident he had without us requesting she do so). 10 out of 10 would recommend. We will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

“Rita is my go-to cat person— this is the second time I have had a health emergency and she has taken care of my three cats in my absence. She cares about them and goes the extra mile to reassure me about the cats. She provides pictures and communication that lets me know my cats are in good hands. And she’s just agreed to another week— I’ve unexpectedly been delayed. Thanks Rita— I’m lucky to have found Rita and Rover.com.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my English Bulldog, who I’ve helped raise since 2020, so I understand the daily care and attention dogs need. I’m also very familiar with cats, thanks to helping with my cousin’s cat, so I feel confident caring for both cats and dogs. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available after 1 p.m. on Monday - Friday. I’m usually free on Sundays as well. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I give my own. You can trust me to be responsible, reliable, and to keep your pets safe and happy while you’re away.
“Vivi helped me on short notice! She exhibited genuine concern for my animals and was quick to communicate. I truly appreciate her caring and confidence. I have no doubts that I will use her in the future.”

“Jayla has a very nice vibe about her. She followed my instructions and was always on time. I was out of the country for a week and I didn’t worry about my little kitty once. I plan to call on Jayla every time I’m away in the future. She’s EXCELLENT. I highly recommend her.”

“Naomi was great with our fur babies. Although we were only gone for a weekend, in that short period of time she was able to bond with our girls and they felt right at home with her. Naomi is personable and professional, she was prompt and our fur babies didn't stress out because we were gone, as they've done before in the past. I highly recommend Naomi and we will definitely utilize her services in the future.”

I work remotely most of the week so I will be there all day with the animals making sure they can get plenty of exercise I have a fenced yard that is easily and always accessible and plenty of room for a crate if that is what you use for your dog
About: I grew up in a small village which gave me the opportunity to take care of all types of animals including horses, birds, dogs, and cats. I have had my dog Gucci for 11 years now ( he lives with my family overseas) and was taking care of 2 very adorable stray dogs Rex ,Angel ,and a cat named olive. Angel can’t see in one eye so he needed all the help he could get. After taking care of them for about a year I decided to find them their forever homes. Rex, olive ,and angel were adopted by two warm and loving homes. Before leaving them I made sure that they were given proper care and the attention they need. I’m a college student and I take some of my classes online. I spend most of my time at home studying. Taking care of a pet will fit right into my schedule. I have a big backyard that is fenced with space for dogs to run around. I don’t leave pets outside unattended. Inside the house I like dogs to be as comfortable as possible and to roam around freely.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Forestville
We absolutely love our Bessie! We’ve used her several times now and she is always wonderful. She’s incredibly sweet, reliable, flexible, and so easy to work with. Most importantly, we feel completely comfortable knowing our dog is in good hands with her, which honestly makes all the difference when we’re away. She’s great about keeping us updated, takes such good care of him, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. It’s such a relief having someone we trust and don’t have to worry about when we leave him behind. We’re so grateful we found her and will absolutely continue using her anytime we need someone to take care of our pup. Highly recommend her!

Anh was wonderful! My dog has separation anxiety, and Anh truly went above and beyond to help her feel safe and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout, and as a first-time Rover user, she made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I felt confident leaving my dog in her care and would absolutely book with her again. I highly recommend Anh.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
