About: I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old! Through her, I learned what it means to make sacrifices for others while also loving the process! She was very easy to train on my own, but sometimes her intelligence causes her to be mischievous! During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz at 8 months old. Unfortunately, he was a stray and came with severe resource guarding leading to numerous fights with Beth. Because of this, I put him in multiple rounds of training and learned for myself what it means to support dogs through and watch for triggers dealing with aggression. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! If I could, I’d have many more dogs! I am a teacher in SE DC, so during the school year, my availability is primarily evenings and weekends. During the summer, my availability is very open! I am very attentive and respectful of others homes, dogs, and instructions. Knowing that my own dogs take a minute to warm up to someone knew, I will be sure to follow specific routines or guidance given! Your home will remain as it was when I enter!

About: My partner and I work together to provide reliable and attentive house sitting and pet care throughout the DMV area. I currently work part-time as a concierge, which has strengthened my professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for building security and residents’ privacy. My partner is studying online to become an electrician, which gives him a flexible schedule and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving. We also have a cat of our own, so we understand the importance of routine, litter care, enrichment, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior. Caring for animals in their home requires patience and attentiveness, and we take that seriously. Together, we have experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, and temperaments. Working as a team allows us to provide consistent supervision, maintain routines, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We are comfortable with: • Small to large dogs • Senior pets • Multiple-pet households • Following detailed feeding and care schedules We prioritize clear communication, cleanliness, and maintaining a calm, secure environment at all times. Our goal is to provide dependable care so you can travel with peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. I work some night concierge shifts, which gives me flexibility during the day to maintain feeding schedules, walks, and check-ins. Spending time outdoors with pets is a great balance after overnight work, and I enjoy being active with them. My partner studies in the evenings, so we are both structured and routine-oriented. Having pets in our care fits well with our schedule, as we prioritize consistency, fresh air, and daily activity. Because of our schedule flexibility, we are able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care while ensuring pets receive attentive and reliable supervision. About: I have taken care of my own pets since I was 13 and have trained them myself, and if you ask any body in my family they would probably tell you that they are spoiled. I have also helped family members take care of puppies and kittens; helping with feedings, cleaning, potty training, etc. So, that they could find forever homes. I am currently a freshman in college and my class load is fairly easy and flexible giving me ample time to focus on your pet. I am a stickler for rules and following instructions, so however you want me to look after your pet and the boundaries set; I will follow exactly how you want as the pet owner.

About: When I was 15, I had my first puppy named Marshmallow, a very handsome grey & white Shih Tzu. Since then, I've had this massive love for pets. I have babysat my friends and family dogs, including a pitbull, a golden doodle, a cat, a labrador, a pomeranian, and a disabled terrier. I will take care of them with lots of love & compassion. I can guarantee great on-time care for them. I'm a full-time student in college looking for a part-time job that smoothly fits into my week. Also, creating my own schedule is something that comes in handy on busy school days. I would take your dog on long & lovely walks, keep them well-fed, work on possibly getting them to new tricks & make sure things stay clean.

About: I grew up in a small village which gave me the opportunity to take care of all types of animals including horses, birds, dogs, and cats. I have had my dog Gucci for 11 years now ( he lives with my family overseas) and was taking care of 2 very adorable stray dogs Rex ,Angel ,and a cat named olive. Angel can’t see in one eye so he needed all the help he could get. After taking care of them for about a year I decided to find them their forever homes. Rex, olive ,and angel were adopted by two warm and loving homes. Before leaving them I made sure that they were given proper care and the attention they need. I’m a college student and I take some of my classes online. I spend most of my time at home studying. Taking care of a pet will fit right into my schedule. I have a big backyard that is fenced with space for dogs to run around. I don’t leave pets outside unattended. Inside the house I like dogs to be as comfortable as possible and to roam around freely.

If you are in need of an awesome pet care service, hiring Jelisa and her partner are definitely the way to go. I was very nervous about leaving my pet home of me to go out of town for two nights, Jelisa assured me she and her partner would take very good care of my pup. They both gave me detailed step by step of each visit, gave my pup lots of attention and even took my packages in off the porch. If I ever need this service again, Jelisa and her partner will be my first choice to care for my pup! I am more than pleased with her service!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was born. I love them. I’m also very patient when it comes to animals so senior dogs, small dogs, giant dogs, any special requirements are no issue for me. I’m currently working during the week and on some weekends but I’m available most Sunday’s for boarding and weekdays before 4 to go on walks or dog sit. I have a nice size backyard although it’s not fenced in, I normally walk dogs in my neighborhood whenever I’m dog sitting. I love giving dogs organic treats as long as I have permission from the owner. I love cuddling and I am always sure to put away any small items that can cause harm to any curious puppies !

They were absolutely amazing. I just moved to the area from Texas and had to travel to Colorado for my niece’s birthday, but couldn’t bring my dog. My usual pet sitter is back in Texas, so I was unexpectedly without pet care. When the dates of my trip changed, they were generous and flexible enough to watch Scooby a little longer. Scooby normally takes a while to warm up to new people and can be particularly hesitant around men, but he bonded with them incredibly quickly. They truly exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and wonderful with pets.
