“This was our first time boarding Black with a sitter, and Crystal provided a great experience for Black and for us. When we dropped him off, he didn’t even look back as she ushered him inside which told us he was comfortable with Crystal from the very beginning. When we picked Black up, he was excited to see us AND sad for his weekend with Crystal to come to an end. Black had a couple of behavioral issues during his stay and Crystal was very attentive taking great care of his needs and keeping us updated with great photos and detailed reports. We highly recommend Crystal.”
About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old, and I trained her myself. During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz, at 8 months old who had aggression and resource guarding issues. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! I know training basics and am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes! I am a teacher in SE DC, so during the school year, my availability is primarily evenings and weekends. During the summer, my availability is very open! About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. I currently work full time, but am more than happy to watch your fur baby on my days off! I have days off where I have no plans and would love to spend it with more dogs or with your cat! About: Growing up I have had many family pets and have loved taking care of and bonding with every one of them. About: As a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience raising and training a Cocker Spaniel, a Pitbull Terrier, and a Rottweiler from puppyhood into their senior years, my goal is to provide patient and dependable care tailored to your pet's unique personality. Recently lost two friends one moved away the other, Sasha; a poodle mix of 12 years, passed away I was luckily able to spend more time with her during 2020 before she had to go. About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months.
