“Raven is amazing! She took such good care of our pets, showed up exactly when we expected her to, and her communication was above and beyond. I felt so relaxed during our vacation knowing that they were all being taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: I bring a lifelong, genuine love for animals paired with hands on experience. From dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, I’ve cared for them all with patience, attentiveness, and love. Growing up with animals shaped my natural instinct to understand their needs, personalities, and little quirks, and over the years I’ve continued that care by looking after pets for friends and family throughout my teens. Whether it’s keeping a routine, giving extra cuddles, or making sure even the smallest details are just right, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comforting environment so both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I’m currently in college and taking online courses so I’m able to be home most of the day if necessary. I’ll be able to take them out and give them plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I will follow any all instructions by the owner and follow their usual schedule to make sure the pet is comfortable at all times. I’ll make sure to keep the owner’s updated and send them pictures so they know they’re pet is well taken care of!
About: My love of dogs began when my mom got a puppy when I was in sixth grade. Now I am a dog mom. I've been the proud mom of a Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix for the past 4 years. I've raised her since she was 3 months old, through potty training, puppy training and intermediate training. I'd love to care for your fur baby too. I'm at home during the day and available to drop in/ walk your fur baby. I am available in the mornings and in the afternoon. I have an unfenced end unit townhouse. There is grass on the side of my house and plenty of unfenced grass in my townhome community. I work from home almost every day of the week so I will have time to take care of your baby during the weekday. I'm able to get out and walk dogs on the weekends. I have an unfenced yard and a fenced play area in front of my house. I have a friendly fur baby who likes to play and thinks she's the leader of the pack.
“Goldie Loves Milanni! Milanni is someone I can count on for drop-ins or boarding when I’m traveling around the world. I appreciate how easy it is to communicate with her and she confidently takes care of business without any worry. Goldie appreciates Milanni being part of her caregiving community when I am away. I recommend Milanni for your pet and caregiving needs.”

“I feel like I struck gold when I found Rita— she dropped in daily for 3 weeks to take care of my three skittish cats while I had to unexpectedly spend time in the hospital. Through the Rover app she was able to communicate daily about her visits while providing pictures or video through face time. She was dependable, reliable and caring — she even brought a special cat toy from home to build rapport with these shy cats. I appreciated her going the extra mile and her assistance to me. I got to recover rather than worry about the cats — what a gift! I will always request her in future and recommend her and Rover to others.”

About: As a passionate pet owner, I understand the joy and responsibility of keeping your dog happy, healthy, and active. With a love for all breeds and a commitment to personalized care, I offer dog walking services that go beyond just a quick stroll. One pet has a special diet and since I have 3 in total, they all eat the same. That way I know whether any issues are truly with one pet or there is another issue with the environment or food.
“Amoy took great care of my cat Penny while I was away for Thanksgiving break. When my return flight was unexpectedly cancelled, she was incredibly flexible with additional last-minute visits, which was a huge relief. Penny is a senior cat with acid reflux issues, and Amoy handled cleaning up after her when she had flare-ups. I also really appreciated that her daughter spent time playing with Penny. She gets lonely when she’s by herself, so the extra attention meant a lot.”

“As alway, Jessica is a fantastic cat sitter, I highly recommend her!! She is very adaptable, for example my cat’s medication process has changed a few times and she’s always completely ok with it and administers it as directed by the vet. It’s also always clear that she cares about Kona, ensuring he gets his supervised outside time (weather permitting).”

“Valerie was absolutely amazing!! She was really attentive and affectionate with my baby boy and she provided wonderful updates with pictures and videos. If you need someone to take care of your pet while you’re gone, she’s your girl! I give her 10 out of 5 stars!!! ⭐️ ✨🌟💫”

“Nyair is the absolute best pet sitter. She watched our cats over Thanksgiving break. We booked 4 days. She was patient, caring, considerate and professional. She is my permanent pet sitter!”

About: Hi, I’m Rubi. If you book with us, both my wife Martha and I will be taking care of your pet. We truly love animals, not just as pets, but as family. Before accepting a new booking, we like to do a meet and greet. This helps make sure your pet feels comfortable with us and also gets along well with our two dogs. It’s important to us that everyone feels safe, calm, and at ease from the beginning. We know how it feels to leave your dog with someone else, because we would only trust people who care for them the same way we do. That’s exactly how we care for every pet that stays with us, like they are our own. We have two dogs at home, Oddie, our 5-year-old Cavapoo, and Toffy, our 15-year-old Bichon Frise and Maltese mix. They’ve taught us patience, attention, and how every dog has their own personality and needs. Your pet will be in a calm, loving home where they are allowed on the couch, can relax, play, and just feel comfortable. We go on walks, spend time with them, and make sure they are never just being watched, they are being truly cared for. I work mornings, and Martha works from home full time, so there is always someone present. Your pet will not be left alone or ignore. We believe in letting dogs be themselves. Every pet adjusts differently to a new environment, and we understand that it can sometimes be a little stressful at first. That’s why we ask about their routines, habits, and preferences, so we can keep things as familiar as possible and reduce that initial stress. Our goal is to make the transition gentle and help them feel safe, understood, and at home. We’ll also send updates and photos, because we know how important that is when you’re away. At the end of the day, we treat your pet the way we would want someone to treat ours, with love, patience, and real attention. I work in the morning at the moment, but Martha works from home full time so she will be available at all times if I am not around. We make sure to understand your pet's routines and habits, as well as any special needs they may have, such as medication or dietary restrictions, and provide plenty of toys and beds for the pets to use.
“Imani was very professional. She asked me detailed questions to assure that she knew how to relate to my dog who is an old lady. She was quick to respond and carried her duties just as she said she would. I was hesitant to let someone in my home but after working with her, I will definitely use Rover again.”

About: I am a dog handler for work and have been doing this job for 2 years now. I grew up with big dogs and cats my whole life, and have so much love and compassion for all animals. I am currently working full time with a monthly schedule change. 1st month I will work from 4am-5 pm. 2nd month I will work 8am-5pm. And my 3rd month I will work 4pm- 5am shift. I will sometimes have to leave the local area for work but will be notified in advance! My schedule can seem kinda crazy but I love to work! I currently live in an apartment and won’t be able to do any pet care in my home, but I have no problem with traveling to your home to let your fur babies out for walks, play time, feed and whatever else they need!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Upper Marlboro
Uduak was wonderful! She was communicative with my husband and I, and very patient with my pup who is not comfortable with new people. Uduak followed instructions to a tee, and also used her discernment in caring for Mozzy (even cleaning up an accident he had without us requesting she do so). 10 out of 10 would recommend. We will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
