Hello! My name is Iyana, and I’m a graduate student at Bowie State University. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and grew up around pets of all kinds. My family taught me how to properly care for animals and read their body language, which has helped me build calm, trusting relationships with them. I began pet sitting in high school while extended family traveled for vacations and work, and I’ve continued ever since. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds, and I’m comfortable with dog walking, daily visits, potty breaks, feeding, medication routines, litter care, and maintaining schedules. I also offer overnights, extended stays, and around-the-clock care when needed. I’m attentive, reliable, and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to connecting with you and caring for your pet while you’re away!

Iyana was lovely! She took a short notice same day booking to watch Lio after another pet sitter cancelled last minute. Lio’s is my parents cat and they’ve never use a pet sitter before, so she was very thorough with communications and explaining things. She was responsive, and she sent consistent updates about Lio and how he was doing. Will definitely use Iyana again!
Iyana took great care of Kali and sent daily pictures and updates. She was reliable, had good communication and made me feel comfortable knowing Kali was in good hands.

From my initial contact w/Iyana, to her boarding my cat, K’UMA, she was the most professional, courteous & and patient boarder I’ve ever had. Her bedside manner to K’UMA & attentiveness to him was nothing short of who she was as a pet caregiver. I received daily updates w/pics from her, which were very reassuring to me. He stayed w:her for 8 nights, while I went back home to Jamaica, to celebrate my 56th birthday, which is 9/11. If you’re looking for someone to board your pet with, cat or dog, Iyana is the best!!!! Iyana did such an amazing job caring for Prince and Deuce! She kept me updated throughout their stay and sent pictures every day, which really gave me peace of mind. When I picked them up, they were happy, calm, and completely themselves, which told me they were comfortable and well cared for while I was away. I will absolutely use Iyana’s services again! I also plan to share her information with my neighborhood groups because I would definitely recommend her to other local pet owners looking for someone dependable and caring to look after their fur babies.
