I have used Rebecca "Chloe" for 3 drop-in visits recently. I appreciate her ability to navigate my old man cat, who can be very antisocial at times. I also appreciate her updates and photos that are sent to keep me updated! I would highly recommend Chloe for your pet care needs.

Uduak was wonderful! She was communicative with my husband and I, and very patient with my pup who is not comfortable with new people. Uduak followed instructions to a tee, and also used her discernment in caring for Mozzy (even cleaning up an accident he had without us requesting she do so). 10 out of 10 would recommend. We will definitely be using her services again in the future.

About: Hello! My name is Iyana, and I’m a graduate student at Bowie State University. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and grew up around pets of all kinds. My family taught me how to properly care for animals and read their body language, which has helped me build calm, trusting relationships with them. I began pet sitting in high school while extended family traveled for vacations and work, and I’ve continued ever since. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds, and I’m comfortable with dog walking, daily visits, potty breaks, feeding, medication routines, litter care, and maintaining schedules. I also offer overnights, extended stays, and around-the-clock care when needed. I’m attentive, reliable, and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to connecting with you and caring for your pet while you’re away! Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine. I’m flexible, dependable, and organized, with strong time-management skills, so I’m able to consistently meet pets’ feeding, walking, medication, and check-in schedules. I provide attentive, structured care in both my home and clients’ homes by following each pet’s routine closely. I ensure timely feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and a clean, safe environment while giving pets consistent attention and comfort.

I have had years of experience, with having three labs currently to raising two litters of lab puppies. I have grown up with dogs and love being around them I am in school during the week Monday-Friday. Pet care fits best for me during the evenings or the weekends depending on the week of school. I follow your pet’s routine closely — from feeding schedules and walk times to favorite toys and cuddle spots. I make sure your pet feels secure in their own space, keep their environment tidy, and send regular photo updates so you know they’re happy and well cared for.

About: Hi there! If your looking for a dog sitter/walker no need to look any further. I’ve taken care of dogs of a variety of ages and sizes my whole life. I love dogs and have always found them great companions. I have grown up with Golden Retrievers and Cavaliers, so I am comfortable with large and small dogs. I have also had pets in the past with medical issues and am well aware of how to administer medicine and take attentive care if needed. In addition, I have experience with puppies, both my dogs are grown now but I’ve had them since they were puppies. I am used to puppy life with my Cavapoo (Myles), he is very energetic and playful. Hank on the other hand, my Golden, would rather sleep all day, unless we are playing fetch. As a result, I know how to handle pets with different needs, some energetic and some older not so energetic ones. I often dog sit and walk for family and friends, have had paid sitting jobs in the past, as well as bathe and brush my dogs. I am willing and happy to care for your dogs according to your preferences, as well as hangout and play with them so they can have some fun while your away! I work during the week 9-6 sometimes I get off earlier at 4 or 5. I could do morning before work or afternoons after if needed! I also can do most weekends. I am however moving in August so I am only available till the end of summer. I take my dogs on walks around the neighborhood, let them run around outside if there is a safe space. My dogs like to play fetch so I am happy to throw a ball or any other toy to entertain them. I always take my dogs on leash when outside and would make sure to abide by any rules parents might ask of me. I occasionally treat my dogs when they are good pups, so I would make sure to ask the parents about feeding preferences as well as allergies and dietary restrictions.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. My family has also fostered puppies for the past 5–6 years, which has given me experience with young dogs, routines, patience, and providing a safe, loving environment. Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets like they’re my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to your pets before starting my full-time role in July. Once I begin, I’ll only be in office two days a week, so I’ll still have lots of availability. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and care needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and one friendly small dog who loves making new friends. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel loved, safe, active, and comfortable. I enjoy long walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and care while you’re away.

About: I currently work at a veterinary hospital, where caring for animals is part of my daily routine. I have hands-on experience with feeding, administering basic care, monitoring behavior, and handling pets of all temperaments. I also have cats of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, comfort, and routine. I’m confident caring for both dogs and cats, including those that may need extra attention, and I always treat every pet like my own. I work Monday through Friday at a veterinary hospital, so I’m already actively caring for animals throughout the day. I’m available for pet care services in the evenings after work and fully available on weekends. My schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while still giving your pet plenty of attention and time. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With my experience in a veterinary setting, I’m trained to recognize signs of stress, illness, or unusual behavior. I take time to learn each pet’s routine and needs to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment and follow all instructions closely.

About: Hi! I’m Jordon, and I’ve spent my life surrounded by dogs of all shapes and sizes, bunnies, and other animals. From high-energy puppies to soulful seniors, I understand that every dog has a unique personality and specific needs. My goal is to maintain your dog’s routine as closely as possible to keep them happy and stress-free while you're away. We’ll enjoy long walks, structured play, and of course, lots of downtime for snuggles. I’m reliable, observant, and dedicated to making sure your pup feels safe and loved until you return! I do have a friendly medium sized golden doodle that loves to play and two children (9 and 15) that are animal lovers like me! I am available for boarding Friday mid-day through Sunday evenings for weekend overnight stays. I am also available for weekday walks after work between 330pm-930pm. If Sitting in MY Home What to expect when your pup stays with me: My home is a 'paws-first' environment. I start every stay by slowly introducing your dog to the space so they can sniff around and feel at home. Routine: I stick to your feeding and medication schedule. Safety: My home is dog-proofed, and I never leave pets unattended on balconies or in yards. I always supervise interactions with our golden doodle, Winston. While I do not have a fenced yard, we have a very walkable neighborhood and have a lead in the front yard (with supervision) if your pup prefers roaming time. Comfort: Your pup is welcome on the furniture for snuggles, but I’m happy to enforce "paws on the floor" if that’s what you prefer! They’ll have a dedicated quiet spot for naps and plenty of fresh water at all times. Communication: You'll get daily updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having! If Sitting in the YOUR Home How I care for your pet (and your home): I treat your home with the same respect I treat my own. My goal is for you to come back to a happy dog and a house that looks exactly how you left it. Personalized Care: I follow your dog's "neighborhood routine"—their favorite walking paths, the specific tree they like to sniff, and their usual 'bedtime' rituals. Home Security: I am extremely diligent about locking doors, arming alarms, and bringing in mail or packages so the house looks occupied and secure. Cleanliness: I believe in 'leave no trace.' I’ll keep the kitchen tidy, handle any pet messes immediately with pet-safe cleaners, and ensure water bowls are scrubbed daily. I follow the “Paw Wipe" Policy: I always wipe paws after rainy walks to keep your floors clean. Communication: You'll get daily updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having!

About: Promo Code for $20 off first time booking for Pet Owners that it is their first time using Rover- AMANDD61392 Friends and Family call me the animal whisperer. I have had a dog/dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs from brand new puppies, to babies that were at the end of their life. Someone trusting you with their fur babies is a big compliment that I take seriously. I'm currently not working full time away from home, so for any boardings that are on week days or weekends, you and your fur babies are good to go. I do have one small dog at home BUT, if you prefer your dogs to be alone while here, my dog is easily brought to his grandparents house:), which they are always happy about. I will update when my work schedule changes. I have a fenced yard (tall privacy wooden fence with sliding deadbolt), and can easily crate dogs if needed. Any animals would have free range of the house and the yard. Your babies are my babies while I am taking care of them.

Tracys Landing dog parents share their Rover experiences

1 / 1
5.0 out of 5 stars

Ruth came by to help out with our two dogs while we were out of state for the day. While we'd met Ruth and Keith once before, we hadn't used their services prior to now. Our two large dogs - specifically the oldest dog - can be VERY stubborn. Like, "might-feel-like-giving-up-convincing-him-to-get-off-the-couch" kinda stubborn. But both Ruth and Keith seemed convinced they could manage it, and they were RIGHT! Ruth came by to help out that day, and she was AWESOME. Apparently, both dogs were easy to deal with (go figure), and they even gave her a little snuggle time while she was here. We will DEFINITELY be contacting Ruth and Keith again in the future. THANK YOU!!
