About: I had a black lab growing up and now I have a 7lb chihuahua named Chloe who is super chill, harmless who keeps to herself. She acts more like a cat. I've dog sat for friends in the past as well as been a dog walker for neighbors. I work from home and have been for years so I'm pretty flexible. I may only leave to run errands but I am usually not gone for long periods of time. I walk my dog 3X a day, we take actual walks. She is getting old and doesn't like to be out much, but I really do enjoy the outdoors. My dog roams free when I'm home. I usually crate her and will crate your dog as well if I step out. I live in a large community with plenty of walking space. I have two kids, 10 and 14 who love dogs as well, but I'm responsible for walking and taking care of the dogs. My son is the one who really likes to play with other dogs because Chloe is not a playful, fetching type of dog. I've used Rover myself a couple of times when I was out of town.

About: I bring a lifelong, genuine love for animals paired with hands on experience. From dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, I’ve cared for them all with patience, attentiveness, and love. Growing up with animals shaped my natural instinct to understand their needs, personalities, and little quirks, and over the years I’ve continued that care by looking after pets for friends and family throughout my teens. Whether it’s keeping a routine, giving extra cuddles, or making sure even the smallest details are just right, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comforting environment so both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I’m currently in college and taking online courses so I’m able to be home most of the day if necessary. I’ll be able to take them out and give them plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I will follow any all instructions by the owner and follow their usual schedule to make sure the pet is comfortable at all times. I’ll make sure to keep the owner’s updated and send them pictures so they know they’re pet is well taken care of!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my English Bulldog, who I’ve helped raise since 2020, so I understand the daily care and attention dogs need. I’m also very familiar with cats, thanks to helping with my cousin’s cat, so I feel confident caring for both cats and dogs. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available after 1 p.m. on Monday - Friday. I’m usually free on Sundays as well. About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. I currently work full time, but am more than happy to watch your fur baby on my days off! I have days off where I have no plans and would love to spend it with more dogs or with your cat! I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies (dogs) of my own who are friendly and can keep your fur baby company. I am use to watching other people’s fur babies in a 24 hour care setting.

About: My love of dogs began when my mom got a puppy when I was in sixth grade. Now I am a dog mom. I've been the proud mom of a Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix for the past 4 years. I've raised her since she was 3 months old, through potty training, puppy training and intermediate training. I'd love to care for your fur baby too. I'm at home during the day and available to drop in/ walk your fur baby. I am available in the mornings and in the afternoon. I have an unfenced end unit townhouse. There is grass on the side of my house and plenty of unfenced grass in my townhome community. I work from home almost every day of the week so I will have time to take care of your baby during the weekday. I'm able to get out and walk dogs on the weekends. I have an unfenced yard and a fenced play area in front of my house. I have a friendly fur baby who likes to play and thinks she's the leader of the pack.

Before accepting a new booking, we like to do a meet and greet. This helps make sure your pet feels comfortable with us and also gets along well with our two dogs. It’s important to us that everyone feels safe, calm, and at ease from the beginning. We know how it feels to leave your dog with someone else, because we would only trust people who care for them the same way we do. That’s exactly how we care for every pet that stays with us, like they are our own. We have two dogs at home, Oddie, our 5-year-old Cavapoo, and Toffy, our 15-year-old Bichon Frise and Maltese mix. They’ve taught us patience, attention, and how every dog has their own personality and needs. Your pet will be in a calm, loving home where they are allowed on the couch, can relax, play, and just feel comfortable. I work in the morning at the moment, but Martha works from home full time so she will be available at all times if I am not around. We make sure to understand your pet's routines and habits, as well as any special needs they may have, such as medication or dietary restrictions, and provide plenty of toys and beds for the pets to use.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old! Through her, I learned what it means to make sacrifices for others while also loving the process! She was very easy to train on my own, but sometimes her intelligence causes her to be mischievous! During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz at 8 months old. Unfortunately, he was a stray and came with severe resource guarding leading to numerous fights with Beth. Because of this, I put him in multiple rounds of training and learned for myself what it means to support dogs through and watch for triggers dealing with aggression. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! If I could, I’d have many more dogs! I am a teacher in SE DC, so during the school year, my availability is primarily evenings and weekends. During the summer, my availability is very open! I am very attentive and respectful of others homes, dogs, and instructions. Knowing that my own dogs take a minute to warm up to someone knew, I will be sure to follow specific routines or guidance given! Your home will remain as it was when I enter!
