About: Thanks for checking out my sitter profile! I've been watching pets across the DC area for nearly 8 years, which includes experience as a walker and housesitter. I'm a dependable animal lover who will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable even while their people are away. I live with my partner in a very dog-friendly house in Landover Hills. While I manage the Rover account, my partner Lou--who is a caring pet parent with animal experience that includes a stint at wolf sanctuary-- also will keep your pet(s) company. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I work from home most days of the week; Lou works entirely from home. We often have guest animals in the house, so are used to a daily routine of breakfast and backyards romps after wake-up, multiple breaks throughout business hours, and plenty of play time and dinner in the evenings. We’re happy to incorporate your pet’s usual routine into ours to keep them comfy. I’m attentive to dogs in my care and take pride in ensuring they are comfortable while their owners are away. While with us, your pet will be treated like our own and get plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and abilities. I have six cats of my own and also care for a feral cat colony, which has taught me a lot about patience, trust, and meeting animals where they are. I also help care for my family’s dogs, including a very happy three-legged mutt who reminds me every day that a disability doesn’t get in the way of a wonderful life! I’m comfortable administering medications to both cats and dogs, including insulin injections. I currently work a desk job but can visit your pet in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I unwind by spending time with animals, so being with your pet will probably be my favorite part of my day. It will not just be another item on my to do list. At home I live on a 1/3 of acer with a fenced in yard. Inside I have a 6 cats with lots of cat trees and space for cats to go up and get a good view of the world. We also have separate rooms for cats (or small dogs) to have their own space if they get overwhelmed or want their own space

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. My clients get to travel calmly, knowing their loved one is in safe hands. I am great with pets that require a lot of attention. I give them the love and affection they need to feel at home. I live in a house of animal lovers in a safe suburban neighborhood. It has dog parks and trails and lots of sidewalks. I also have a gated and decent-sized backyard for supervised potty breaks and playdates, so your pet will never be left alone. I am available any day to care for your fur baby. I will make sure they are fed, walked, and loved as if they were my own 🥰 I follow the feeding schedule and provide a frequent supervised potty break and playtime. About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. I currently work full time, but am more than happy to watch your fur baby on my days off! I have days off where I have no plans and would love to spend it with more dogs or with your cat! I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies (dogs) of my own who are friendly and can keep your fur baby company. I am use to watching other people’s fur babies in a 24 hour care setting.

“Alyia has been such a great sitter for my puppy Snoopy. This is my husband and I’s first dog together and so we were very cautious trying to find the perfect fit and Snoopy couldn’t be happier with Alyia. Not only does she follow all of our specifications for Snoopy’s health issues, she also gives him so much snuggles and play time. He barely misses us when we’re gone! She also is incredibly communicative and sends pictures/videos and texts during each visit. The most impressive part about Alyia is her professionalism, care for our home when we’re gone and was even willing to babysit my neighbors kids with Snoopy for an afternoon. She’s truly a star!!!”

About: Having taken care of a precious Springer Spaniel for 14 years (Cocoa), I'll do my best to take care of your dog as if he or she were my own. I'm usually quite responsive when it comes to bookings and arrangements, responding within 15-20 minutes. I'll take them out to play and walk and feed them at least three times a day. I'll also bathe them, if need be. Most importantly, I will be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure that your dog will have fun while with me. I currently have open availability in my schedule, so I could most definitely sit your dog full-time if necessary. Above all else, I just love working with dogs as they are my favorite animal.

About: I am a big advocate for animals especially around the subject that animals are family. I view the pets in my life as my family. I will treat your pet as if they were a part of my family and shower them with love! I currently work full time but I work a hybrid schedule during the week and I am in school for my masters. This will not impact my care for your pets I have a 5 year old cat and she has all of the toys she needs and I can get toys for animals I sit as well.

Also, I was a vet tech in high school, therefore, I am very knowledgeable on their demeanor and evolving needs. I do not accept dog walks that occur past sunset for safety reasons. Currently, I work remotely before starting school- so I’m always home and attentive to your pet’s needs. Unless specified otherwise, I am free during the week and some weekends. I’ve very intuitive to pets needs and cater to their personalities. Because I took vet tech in high school, I have vast experience with pets outside of dogs as well.

About: I can do anything from walking to giving baths or from filling food and water to providing medicine 🐾 I’m okay with dogs of all ages and sizes from puppies to pitbulls and from the sick to the elderly 🙂 I can work remotely so it fits in quite easily. I live in Greenbelt, MD and my office is in DC (when I do decide to go into work), so really anywhere in the suburbs I’m willing to drive to! Any special instructions will be listened to and I will take great care of your pet(s). Hopefully things work out and you can be a regular-ish client! Please note: i board 3-4 dogs at a time. If you have a larger breed dog and I’m boarding multiple dogs, I might require them to where a bark collar that just buzzes if they get aggressive. Depending on their behavior. It helps with mitigation. I have never had any accidents happen under my watch and would like to keep it that way.
