Asparagus had only been home with me for a few days after coming from a farm, so he’s still adjusting to city life and was understandably shy. Although he didn’t fully warm up to Aliyah, he did allow her to take him for a walk, and she was incredibly patient and respectful of his pace. Aliyah also shared some great tips to help keep him calm and settled, which I truly appreciated. This visit was simply to help them get acquainted, and I’m confident they’ll build a wonderful bond over time. We look forward to having Aliyh care for Asparagus in the near future. About: I have been a lover of all animals for as far back as I can remember and have taken care of them both personally and professionally. I have been employed by zoos and aquariums, worked with tigers, made diets for birds of prey, and assisted Marine Biologists with shark tanks and coral reefs. My training has not just been in educating the public, but in positive reinforcements. Everything from dogs, cats, snakes, hedgehogs, frogs, and so many more have been in my care over the course of my life for one reason or another. I am my friends' go-to for anything they've ever been curious about when it comes to our natural world. And being a dog mom of two myself has been one of the most rewarding privileges I've been able to experience. Pet care for me is 24/7 for my own babies, but I am available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and some Wednesdays for any and all services. My pupperonies have been crate trained by me, but for the most part free roam. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.

Together, we make sure your pup feels loved, engaged, and part of our family routine. I also provide daily photo and message updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. We walk your pup/s on a leash at all times unless we have access to an enclosed yard. Generally, we prefer to crate overnight especially if this is your first time using Rover for dog sitting, but we can adapt as needed. Your pup will spend most of their day outside of their crate but perhaps, contained in a part of the house (e,g, watching tv in the sitting room or hanging in the kitchen while we prepare meals). We will try our best to incorporate their usual routine and preferences whenever possible. For puppies, we prefer to crate/contain in confined area.
