“Chandler was an AMAZING pet and house sitter! I expected this based on her other reviews, but our dog and two young cats seemed to adore her! Usually when I board my dog he comes home very stressed out. This was such a different experience- he was just his normal, happy self. Chandler is very communicative and sent us photos and updates of our pets, letting us know how they were. She kept up on all the pet duties, brought in the mail, took out the trash, and left the house better than she found it. She's also got a lovely personality! Next time we need to go out of town, I hope she's available because this was an amazing experience!”

She kept me fully updated the whole time and sent lots of great photos, which I really appreciated. It made such a difference being able to see how he was doing. Pico is used to being with me all the time, so social interaction is really important for him. Anh adjusted to Pico’s needs and routine and also made him part of hers - giving him so much extra love and attention. You can’t always guarantee that level of care when you’re away, and I’m so grateful I never had to worry. As long as I have Wi-Fi, I can work from your home, allowing me to be present throughout the day. I provide potty breaks every 2–4 hours and can adjust the timing to fit your pet’s feeding, medication, or daily routine. I take safety seriously in your home - checking fencing, gates, and potential escape routes, and staying alert to pets who are talented at getting into things or slipping out unnoticed. I've cared for a mischievous, escape-prone dog myself, so I don't underestimate what a determined pet can get into. I follow your instructions on whether a pet can be left alone and for how long, along with feeding, medication, and any other safety concerns. Your home stays secure while you're away, and your pet stays in a familiar, low-stress environment with consistent care.

About: My next door neighbor had me take care of their dog, Brownie. He was an old man, but still a good boy! I would make drop-in visits to make sure he was fed and given his medicine which he did such a good job with taking it around me, and I would also take him outside for bathroom breaks. Milo was another dog I took care of recently, and unlike Brownie, she was young, and also loud just like any other husky, but similar to Brownie, she was good girl. This time she had to live with me at my house, but she was no problem at all. I would take her outside at least two hours a day and give her walks around my neighborhood. I would also let her sleep on my bed and she'd wake me up by licking my face every morning to start the day. Feeding her wasn't a problem either. In fact, taking so much time out of my day to take care of just any other dog is never a problem for me! My recent pet care was for a Siberian Husky named Milo. After taking care of her cats, my sister asked me to take care of Milo for a friend who was away last December. Milo was a big dog, but she wasn't anything I had trouble handling. She was a fun and good girl, and I made sure she was taken outside every two hours of every day and also made sure she was given food and water and would refill both when I see that they're almost empty. Pet care comes first for me and I would take plenty of time out of my day to give pets the love and attention they need while family is away. I have a yard but it isn't fenced. However, I will be outside with your dog if they ever need to go, and keep an eye and/or leash on them if necessary. I did the same for my own dog, Macy. Unfortunately, my home doesn't have any other dogs that yours could socialize with since Macy passed away, but with me around, your baby should never feel alone! If I were to take care of your pet at your home (and if necessary), I could also tidy up the inside of your house to the point where I was never even there once you have come back from your trip.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. Over the past year, I’ve lived with three dogs, two parrots, and 4 cats, and before that, I lived with and helped care for around 23 rescue animals. Everything from lizards and turtles to dogs, goats, and horses! My pupperonies have been crate trained by me, but for the most part free roam. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.

We’re available for housesitting at and time but we do prefer earlier/daytime arrivals as it allows your pup/s to get acclimated while they are awake and alert. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give our doggie guests plenty of attention and regular outdoor breaks, around Layla's activities. My daughter goes to school or camp during the day, but she enjoys walking and playing with our dog clients before and after school/camp, always under my supervision. Together, we make sure your pup feels loved, engaged, and part of our family routine. I also provide daily photo and message updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. We walk your pup/s on a leash at all times unless we have access to an enclosed yard. Generally, we prefer to crate overnight especially if this is your first time using Rover for dog sitting, but we can adapt as needed. Your pup will spend most of their day outside of their crate but perhaps, contained in a part of the house (e,g, watching tv in the sitting room or hanging in the kitchen while we prepare meals). We will try our best to incorporate their usual routine and preferences whenever possible. For puppies, we prefer to crate/contain in confined area.
