“Crystal is so amazing!!! She is patient, thoughtful and caring. My Junior was well taken care and I felt comfortable with leaving him with Crystal. I’ve already booked my next appointment for Junior and I know there will be many more appointments in the future. Crystal is the best!!!”

“Danielle is great with Diggy. She keeps me updated during his stay and also send pictures. I truly appreciate her in taking care of my fur baby. Thank you, Danielle and you are greatly appreciated!!!”

About: I have always grown up with pets since I was able to walk. Dogs are my favorite thing in life!! I recently had to send my dog to heaven and haven’t been quite ever to get over it. I still have his toy and often pet sit for family and friends to try and fill the void. This will give me just that!! I currently do brand ambassador work so I creat my own schedule, which is great. My availability is very flexible. I’m here if you need me!! I have a fenced in yard for small potty breaks but I enjoy going on walks!! Being out in the fresh air getting exercise is always best.
“Marta was referred to me by our regular Rover sitter for coverage while on vacation. Marta was very welcoming and thorough in the meet and greet. She has a lovely space both inside and outside for all dogs and pups. She sent many pics throughout the day to report and assess how my dog was doing. Very kind and a true dog lover! Will gladly use again.”

“Allison was amazing with our dog Chili Pepper (aka Chili Dog). We were greeted with a very warm and friendly smile and had answered all my questions feeling confident and secure that our dog was left in very capable and loving hands. Our Chili Dog took to Allison immediately with excitement and enjoyed herself tremendously, running on the large property, ball fetching and playing with the other dogs. Chili was so exhausted when she came home, she just chilled the rest of the evening. We would definitely recommend Allison for your pet care and boarding needs and will be using her services again in the very near future.”

“Sabrina was wonderful to work with for our first booking! Thank you so much for being flexible with my date change requests — it made everything so easy, and I really appreciated your understanding. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in such caring and reliable hands.”

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 2 years old and have experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and energy levels. I am knowledgeable about potty training puppies and reinforcing good habits and routines. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, providing plenty of exercise, and finding engaging activities that help keep them mentally stimulated. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and needs. I am committed to providing safe, attentive, and loving care while keeping pet parents updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I am especially comfortable with energetic dogs and know how to channel their energy into fun, productive activities that build confidence, reinforce good behavior, and strengthen important life skills. Whether your dog loves playing fetch, practicing basic commands, exploring new walking routes, or simply getting extra attention and companionship, I strive to make every visit enjoyable and enriching. I am free every day from Monday to Sunday from 11 AM until 1AM. I have a very flexible and free schedule . No dog is too much work for me. I can handle it all 😌. I am open to meet and greets before a booking is made. I have a pond behind my house where I can walk dogs to get in a good exercise. I also have a long sidewalk trail in my neighborhood that also has a great area of grass land for dogs to run and play. I lastly have a park 2 minutes from my house where dogs can run, play and interact with other dogs.
“I love when I can leave my pup with a sitter who has children in the home. I think pups and kids are great for each other. Trynae and her son provided our puppy with the love and attention he needed. My only suggestion for dog owners (who aren’t in a rush like I was) and pet sitters is to see/show where the pet will be in the home. Trynae provided pics which made me feel he was comfortable indoors and outdoors.”

About: Hi! My name is Faith, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I truly love spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care instructions, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m very patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I always make sure to provide updates, photos, and consistent communication while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel loved and cared for just like they would at home! I can’t wait to meet you and your pets 🐶🐱🐾 I’m currently working part time night shift so I’m mostly available during the day. Preferably mornings or midday but I can occasionally do nights if needed. I’ll take dogs for walks, feed them, if you have a fenced in backyard I’ll take them out back to run around. For cats I’ll feed & give them water if needed. I’ll also play with them if needed.

“I appreciate all of Denisha’s efforts to try to accommodate my dog’s needs. It did not turn out working out but that’s due to my dog’s own personal special needs and needing more individualized special care. Denisha was very patient and honest during my dog’s care. Some sitters do it for the financial gain but I could really tell that Denisha genuinely cares for the dogs that she sits. She was responsive and provided frequent updates/pictures. I really am thankful that she cared about my dog’s comfort and tried to accommodate her needs. I would definitely recommend Denisha!”

“I had a great experience using Kiki for doggy daycare for my puppy, Emme. She sent regular photos and updates throughout the day, which really gave me peace of mind. Her home was clean, well kept, and clearly a safe environment for dogs—something I really appreciated after seeing some less-than-ideal setups elsewhere. Kiki was incredibly caring and gentle with Emme, and I loved that she was thoughtful enough to remind me to bring a sweater for her because it was cold outside. That level of attentiveness really stood out. I would absolutely trust Kiki with Emme again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and attentive dog sitter.”

About: I’m a lover of dogs who has been caring for and training dogs for 10 years. My experience came from dogs of my own along with dogs of friends and family members. My wife and daughter are very loving and go on family walks around our subdivision daily and can’t wait to include your pup into our routine. We are a extremely clean and tidy family so do not expect to get your pup back smelling bad or looking a mess. I currently work remotely so there is always time to go for walks during the day as it is necessary to get some sunshine and exercise for the pets and for me to get away from the computer screen. “Nick provided excellent care for Maverick while I had to attend an in-person work meeting for the day. He kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and he sent the best pictures of Maverick enjoying himself. It was clear Maverick was well cared for, comfortable, and happy. I truly appreciate the attention and care Nick provided, especially with Maverick still being a puppy. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for reliable and caring puppy-watching services!”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Woodmore commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
