“Crystal is so amazing!!! She is patient, thoughtful and caring. My Junior was well taken care and I felt comfortable with leaving him with Crystal. I’ve already booked my next appointment for Junior and I know there will be many more appointments in the future. Crystal is the best!!!”

“Julie took good care of my timid pup Sophie. She sent some pics during the day, and Sophie seemed happy and comfortable when I picked her up. Julie is also very easy to communicate with - a plus. I'll be using her again to care for Sophie.”

“I had a great experience using Kiki for doggy daycare for my puppy, Emme. She sent regular photos and updates throughout the day, which really gave me peace of mind. Her home was clean, well kept, and clearly a safe environment for dogs—something I really appreciated after seeing some less-than-ideal setups elsewhere. Kiki was incredibly caring and gentle with Emme, and I loved that she was thoughtful enough to remind me to bring a sweater for her because it was cold outside. That level of attentiveness really stood out. I would absolutely trust Kiki with Emme again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and attentive dog sitter.”

About: I've been a dog lover since childhood and a dog owner for over 10 years. As a kid, I begged for a dog every birthday and Christmas, but never got one. I promised myself that when I was older, I’d get a dog—and that’s exactly what I did! For the past 10 years, I’ve had my own dog, training and caring for him since he was 8 weeks old. Through caring for my dog and others, I’ve learned how important it is to have a reliable, patient, and loving dog-sitter. I also understand the convenience and accessibility Rover provides, as finding the right boarding facility or dog-sitter can often be difficult and expensive. With over 10 years of experience in sitting, walking, and boarding, I offer a loving, dependable service for dogs—big or small, young or old. Rest assured your dog will be in great hands with me! I work full time 8:30- 4:30. I am 100% remote and have a very flexible schedule. I am open to weekday, weekend and overnight care. I have a 10 year old cockapoo with the energy of a 2 year old! He is just as playful as he is chill; just depends on if balls are around to fetch! He is very easy going and gets along well with younger and older dogs. I have 3 story townhome with a fenced backyard. I have mostly wood floors and carpet in bed rooms. I have enough space to for crates, playpens or whatever set up you prefer for your pup.
About: I can do anything from walking to giving baths or from filling food and water to providing medicine 🐾 I’m okay with dogs of all ages and sizes from puppies to pitbulls and from the sick to the elderly 🙂 I can work remotely so it fits in quite easily. I live in Greenbelt, MD and my office is in DC (when I do decide to go into work), so really anywhere in the suburbs I’m willing to drive to! Any special instructions will be listened to and I will take great care of your pet(s). Hopefully things work out and you can be a regular-ish client! Please note: if you have a larger breed dog and I’m boarding multiple dogs, I might require them to where a bark collar that just buzzes if they get aggressive. Depending on their behavior. It helps with mitigation. I have never had any accidents happen under my watch and would like to keep it that way.
“Asha dog sat our beagle for the day and he had a great time! She sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. It was great knowing he was in good hands! Thank you for taking such good care of our boy!”

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 2 years old and have experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and energy levels. I am knowledgeable about potty training puppies and reinforcing good habits and routines. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, providing plenty of exercise, and finding engaging activities that help keep them mentally stimulated. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and needs. I am committed to providing safe, attentive, and loving care while keeping pet parents updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I am especially comfortable with energetic dogs and know how to channel their energy into fun, productive activities that build confidence, reinforce good behavior, and strengthen important life skills. Whether your dog loves playing fetch, practicing basic commands, exploring new walking routes, or simply getting extra attention and companionship, I strive to make every visit enjoyable and enriching. I am free every day from Monday to Sunday from 11 AM until 1AM. I have a very flexible and free schedule . No dog is too much work for me. I can handle it all 😌. I am open to meet and greets before a booking is made. I have a pond behind my house where I can walk dogs to get in a good exercise. I also have a long sidewalk trail in my neighborhood that also has a great area of grass land for dogs to run and play. I lastly have a park 2 minutes from my house where dogs can run, play and interact with other dogs.
“This is my first time using this app: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Omoyemisi. From the moment she met my new bundle of joy, her spirit was so warm, loving, and welcoming. My puppy instantly fell in love with her—and honestly, she fell right in love with him too. 🐶💖 She treated him with so much care, patience, and genuine affection, as if he were her own. I felt completely at peace knowing he was in such loving hands. It’s rare to find someone whose energy is so pure and nurturing, and Omoyemisi truly has that gift. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your fur baby, someone who will love them wholeheartedly, she is absolutely the one. I’m beyond grateful for her care and kindness. Highly, highly recommend! ✨🐾💞”

“Danielle is great with Diggy. She keeps me updated during his stay and also send pictures. I truly appreciate her in taking care of my fur baby. Thank you, Danielle and you are greatly appreciated!!!”

“Catie always takes such good care of my pup, introduces her to new dogs and experiences, and communicates proactively about general updates and any potential concerns. Bertie loves going over and comes home tired and happy.”

“My dog loves his time with Jeff. And I love Jeff's experience with dogs, his pics of my dog, and the backyard area where my pup can safely play with other dogs and hang out with Jeff.”

About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I can do doggy daycare in my house if your furry friend gets along with mine, but also more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them, or letting them out into the yard.
“Marta is wonderful! Finn had so much fun at her house and yard. She made sure that he would be compatible with the other dogs that were there and she sent me updates and lots of pictures. Highly recommend!”

“I brought my little senior to Denisha and I could not have been happier with the care she took with him. She has true caring for animals and she cared for my dog as well as she cared for her own dogs. They went on walks and when she noticed he was lagging, she picked up his ten pound self and carried him the rest of the way. She cues into behaviors to figure out dynamics and issues. She was just great. I loved that she took him on walks because no place I have taken him has ever put that effort into him. Please consider Denisha as a caretaker for your dog. I will definitely be going back to her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Seabrook
Sid had such a great time at Ms. Yemi’s for day care! He’s an anxious pup, but she quickly made him feel at ease. She sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day, which was such a relief since we were traveling. She genuinely loves pets, and I felt like she gave our guy so much attention.

Crystal was super accommodating, letting me book out Christmas Day just a few days in advance. She was so thorough, from the initial Zoom interview questions to sending pics and updates periodically during my dog’s stay. I felt 100% confidence that all his needs would be met. Highly recommended this sitter!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Seabrook commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
