Safety, trust & environment

I allow pets on all furniture, my bed, my chairs, couches. I don’t believe that pets shouldn’t be allowed on furniture. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I currently have ample time and flexibility to dedicate to dogs in my care. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, training reinforcement, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. After recently losing my own dog to kidney failure, I understand deeply how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby. That experience has strengthened my commitment to providing attentive, compassionate care and treating every dog as if they were my own. I’m able to give dogs my undivided attention, whether that means extra comfort for senior dogs, structured routines for puppies, or simply being present to ensure they feel safe, loved, and at ease. My goal is to give dog parents complete peace of mind, knowing their fur baby is receiving the same care, patience, and love I would want for my own.

Information omoyemisi o. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to understand their personality, energy level, and any triggers, fears, or behaviors that help me provide the best care possible. Please let me know about your pet’s training level, favorite activities, comfort items, and whether they’re used to cuddling, sleeping on the bed, or spending time on furniture. For puppies and senior dogs, any special instructions, mobility concerns, or extra care needs are especially helpful.

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I care for is calm, engaging, and centered around their comfort and routine. We start the day with morning potty breaks, feeding, and any medications as needed, followed by gentle playtime or walks depending on each dog’s energy level and age. Throughout the day, I provide plenty of one-on-one attention, cuddles, and supervision. This includes relaxed cuddle time and nap time together on my bed for dogs who are used to that level of comfort at home. I want every dog to feel safe, relaxed, and truly at ease while in my care. Fun activities include backyard playtime, interactive toys, short training sessions using positive reinforcement, neighborhood walks, and enrichment activities tailored to each dog. Puppies receive structured play and training reinforcement, while senior dogs enjoy slower walks, extra comfort, and peaceful companionship.

Yemi regularly cares for our 4 month old puppy during the week and we were thrilled to have her watch him when we went out of town. She is always professional and takes pride in her job while being kind and patient with our little pup as he grows. We highly recommend her for your dog walking or dog sitting needs!

Thank you so much for taking care of Melo (Lo-Lo). He was in excellent hands and was smiling in every photo you sent. He is very comfortable with you and it shows. Melo was still clean and fresh just like we left at drop off. Yemi communicated daily with updates and pictures of Melo. Hands down, you are Melo’s (our) favorite. Thank you so much for loving my Melo!
