We’re available for housesitting at and time but we do prefer earlier/daytime arrivals as it allows your pup/s to get acclimated while they are awake and alert. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give our doggie guests plenty of attention and regular outdoor breaks, around Layla's activities. My daughter goes to school or camp during the day, but she enjoys walking and playing with our dog clients before and after school/camp, always under my supervision. Together, we make sure your pup feels loved, engaged, and part of our family routine. I also provide daily photo and message updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. We walk your pup/s on a leash at all times unless we have access to an enclosed yard. Generally, we prefer to crate overnight especially if this is your first time using Rover for dog sitting, but we can adapt as needed. Your pup will spend most of their day outside of their crate but perhaps, contained in a part of the house (e,g, watching tv in the sitting room or hanging in the kitchen while we prepare meals). We will try our best to incorporate their usual routine and preferences whenever possible. For puppies, we prefer to crate/contain in confined area.

She kept me fully updated the whole time and sent lots of great photos, which I really appreciated. It made such a difference being able to see how he was doing. Pico is used to being with me all the time, so social interaction is really important for him. Anh adjusted to Pico’s needs and routine and also made him part of hers - giving him so much extra love and attention. You can’t always guarantee that level of care when you’re away, and I’m so grateful I never had to worry. About: I have been a lover of all animals for as far back as I can remember and have taken care of them both personally and professionally. I have been employed by zoos and aquariums, worked with tigers, made diets for birds of prey, and assisted Marine Biologists with shark tanks and coral reefs. My training has not just been in educating the public, but in positive reinforcements. Everything from dogs, cats, snakes, hedgehogs, frogs, and so many more have been in my care over the course of my life for one reason or another. I am my friends' go-to for anything they've ever been curious about when it comes to our natural world. And being a dog mom of two myself has been one of the most rewarding privileges I've been able to experience. Pet care for me is 24/7 for my own babies, but I am available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and some Wednesdays for any and all services. My pupperonies have been crate trained by me, but for the most part free roam. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.

About: I have been petsitting, house sitting, cat sitting, and farm sitting since Rover was DogVacay, but actually since I was a child caring for my neighbors pets and horses. My dog Quill is around 8 years old and gets along with almost everyone. No one is perfect. That's why I ask that you allow enough time to schedule a Meet-N-Greet so we know your dog, my dog, and I are a good fit. I do not accept dogs that are not spayed or neutered. Sorry:( I am skilled at giving pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous shots. (think diabetics and thyroid disease for cats) We have taken in a family member's cat in the past year. She is the queen of the household and is not intimidated by most dogs as long as they are not aggressive toward her. I can do drop in visits for cats, reptiles, and birds as needed. I do accept reptiles and birds into my home as well. My Husband and Stepson enjoy all the animals that come and go. I am working full time until June 17th, therefore I only accept dogs on the weekends until school is out. I just updated my summer schedule so there are more opportunities for walks, house sitting, and cat drop ins. I have a fenced patio that the dogs enjoy hanging out on. I do not have a yard, but my Condo is very large and there is plenty of room for the dogs to play and take breaks from each other. I do not take dogs off leash unless I know the dog very well and we are in a safe area such at the dog park or dog beach. I will only take your dog on excursions with your permission. My dog loves to go to the farm and the dog beach, but that's not for everyone. ;)
