Mariela was available to dog sit Prince for about a week, when a previous Rover cancelled the day of which was extremely helpful! I was so relieved! She was good with his feeding, informed me when he got sick and threw up, cleaned it up thoroughly and followed instructions very well on what his diet should be. That being said there were quite a few hiccups. I rarely recieved updates on Prince without asking, even after sending a message stating that I needed updates on him especially as I am out of the country. Once I recieved updates, it was just about which walk they were on not about how he was doing/feeling especially with him being sick and having seperation anxiety. I had to ask if he was eating, and continuously ask how he was doing. His walk schedule wasn’t followed as scheduled, there were a few times she greatly over slept his morning walk so instead of going out at 9am he went out for his first walk of the day at 12pm. There was also an instance (which she apologized for) that she accidentally fell asleep in the bathroom, however Prince had seperation anxiety and will lick his paws on the couch if left alone at night, which I did inform her. However, she took immediate responsibility which I appreciated! The last walk of her stay she overslept and again he did not go out until 12pm. He’s 105 pounds.. All in all, I think she is a great sitter, but I do feel like the updating the owners, and sticking to the schedules provided by the owner can use some work.

Mariela accepted my dog visit bookings on short notice over the 4th of July weekend and took great care of them. She followed my instructions expertly and sent me photos. I recommend her 10/10!
